Akkor mondjuk, hogy egy játékos elkötelezte magát a pothoz, ha már annyi zsetont fektetett a játékba, hogy nem dobhat akkor sem, ha ellenfele egy emeléssel all-in<\/a> próbálja vinni.<\/p>

Az általános vélekedéssel ellentétben az elkötelezettség nem azon alapul, hogy a játékos már tekintélyes mennyiségű pénzt fektetett lapjaiba, hanem sokkal inkább azon, hogy nagyon jó esélyt kap a megadáshoz.<\/p>

Például ha egy játékos már a zsetonjai felét a potba tette, ellenfele pedig all-in<\/a> próbálja hívni, akkor legalább 3:1 banki esélyt kap, ami azt jelenti, hogy csak az esetek 25%-ában kell nyernie, hogy nullszalldós (break even) legyen. Ha a potban még gazdátlan pénz is van, még jobb esélyt kap.<\/p>

Ha egy játékos úgy érzi, annyira hátrányban van, hogy nincs megfelelő esélye a megadáshoz, a dobás<\/a> természetesen helyes döntés, még akkor is, ha már sok zsetont fektetett a potba. Hiba megadni egy emelést csak azért, mert már sok pénzt fektettél lapjaidba, hiszen a potban lévő pénz már nem tartozik senkihez. <\/p>
