Az áprilisi események vélhetően az alacsony limiten játszó hobbipókereseket érintették a legkevésbé fájdalmasan, hiszen megmaradtak az otthoni játszmáknál és a helyi kaszinók asztalainál is kiélhették szenvedélyüket. A megélhetési pókeresek számára több kisebb terem kínálkozott átmeneti megoldásként, ahol továbbra is fogadnak amerikai pókereseket. Mivel megszokott rutinjukat szerették volna folytatni, és saját limitjeiken nem találtak elég akciót, hamarosan új lehetőségek után néztek.<\/p>

Az egyik legnépszerűbb amerikai bázisú pókerközösség, a 2+2 fórum költözős topikját<\/a> 2011. április 17-én, két nappal a fekete péntek után nyitották meg. A topik alapvető célja az volt, hogy létrehozzanak egy olyan fórumot, ahol az arra rászorulók megoszthatják egymással a felmerülő problémákat és a lehetséges megoldásokat.<\/p>

A topik leggyakoribb témái között szerepel a profi pókeresek számára ideális lakhelyek számbavétele, új bankszámlák létrehozása és a vízumok igényelésének különböző módjai. A legnépszerűbb ország egyébként Kanada, de az Egyesült Királyság, Málta, Ausztrália és Új-Zéland is szerepel a célországok listáján, továbbá a közép- és dél-európai térség is gyakran szóba kerül, a legkülönbözőbb szempontok figyelembe vételével.<\/p>

A WSOP végével egyértelművé vált, hogy több highstakes játékos is más országba teszi át főhadiszállását. Las Vegasban a forgalom július végére jelentősen visszaesik, a kaszinók kínálta játéklehetőségek az átmeneti látogatók számával csökkennek, a legnagyobb versenyeknek már rég vége.
