Az idei World Series of Poker előtt még egy kiemelkedő pókerverseny várja a játékosokat Las Vegasban: ma kezdődik a WPT<\/a> World Championship a Bellagióban. Akik szeretnének ezen a tornán asztalhoz ülni, 25 000$-os nevezési díjat kell kifizetniük.<\/p>

A magas beülő ellenére a múlt évi versenyen 220 játékos indult, és remélhetőleg idén ez a szám még magasabb lesz.<\/p>

Az előző szezon fináléját Scott Seiver nyerte meg. Kiemelkedően nehéz mezőnyben aratott diadalt, a döntő asztalnál olyan ellenfeleket győzött le, mint a korábbi PCA bajnok Galen Hall (3. hely) és a háromszoros WSOP győztes Farzad Bonyadi (2. hely).<\/p>

A verseny utolsó leosztásában \"Tc\"\"6d\"\"2s\"\"Qc\"\"Ks\" asztalnál 600 ezret licitált, amire Bonyadi 1,6 milliós emeléssel válaszolt. Seiver \"Js\"\"9d\" kezet tartva minden zsetonját középre tolta, míg Bonyadi némi tétovázás után megadott \"Qs\"\"Th\" lapokkal. <\/p>

Ezzel Seiver lett a a 2011-es WPT World Champonship bajnoka, győzelméért 1 618 344$-t kapott. A nyeremény tekintetében Bonyadinak sem volt oka szomorkodni, több mint egymillió dollárral gazdagabban távozott a versenyről.

WPT World Championship 2012<\/h2>

A szervezők ezúttal igyekeznek megdönteni a múlt évi 5 309 500$-os díjalapot, és egészen a 12. vakszintig (3. nap) lehetővé tették a regisztrációt.<\/p>
