A WPT World Championship az év egyik legnagyobb eseménye a versenyjátékosok számára. A Bellagióban évente megrendezésre kerülő tornán 25 000$ a részvételi díj. A nagy presztízzsel bíró verseny rengeteg kezdőzsetonnal és deep versenystruktúrával várja a játékosokat. Az első napon 103-an neveztek, és közülük 98-nak sikerült a továbbjutás.<\/p>

Mi történt az első napon?<\/h2>

Az élmezőny - <\/span><\/strong>a verseny első napja a furcsa versenystruktúrának köszönhetően <\/span>(erről lejjebb bővebben is olvashatsz) <\/span>nagyon lassú tempóban zajlott, néhány profinak azonban sikerült meglehetősen sok zsetont szereznie. A mezőny élén az amerikai profi játékos, Steve O'Dwyer áll 231 750 zsetonnal, Guillaume Darcourt a 4. helyig jutott 215 250 zsetonjával, míg Vanessa Selbst az 5. helyen áll 207 425 zsetonnal. Az első tízben még számos ismert játékost találunk, Michael Mizrachi (7.), Isaac Haxton (9.) és Farzad Bonyadi (10.) is ott van az élmezőnyben. A PokerStrategy.com edzője, \"\"JonathanLittle<\/a> <\/b>a 11. helyen áll 181 400 zsetonnal. Sok sikert kívánunk Jonathan!<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>

<\/span><\/strong>Negreanu remek dobása <\/span><\/strong>- az egyik leosztás különösen nagy figyelmet kapott a WPT élő frissítéseiben és a Twitteren. A parti Daniel Negreanu és az online legenda, Cliff 'JohnnyBax' Josephy között zajlott. Josephy 500-at nyitott A-A<\/strong> lapokkal,  és hárman megadtak, köztük Negreanu is a kisvakról J-J<\/strong> kézzel. A-J-8<\/strong> flop érkezett két káróval, így mindkét játékosnak szettje lett. Negreanu passzolt, a nagyvak 1300-at nyitott, Josephy megadott, a gomb 5000-ig emelt, Negreanu visszaemelt 14 000-ig, Josephy pedig szintén az emelést választotta, 40 000-ig emelte a tétet. A nagyvak és a gomb megváltak lapjaiktól. Negreanu pedig - helyesen - megvált közepes szettjétől.<\/span><\/p>

Szokatlan struktúra<\/strong> - a verseny meglehetősen szokatlan struktúrával zajlik. A játékosok 100 000 zsetonnal, és mindössze 100\/200 vakokkal kezdik a játékot. Ez 500 nagyvaknak felel meg. Ha mindez még nem lenne elég deep, minden vakszint 90 percig tart. A legfurcsább azonban talán az, hogy a harmadik nap délutánjáig lehet regisztrálni a versenyre!<\/span>
