A PokerStars egy időben a világbajnokok otthonának számított, de mára csak egy ilyen játékosuk maradt, miután a 2010-es világbajnok, Jonathan Duhamel kilépett a Team Pro-ból.<\/strong><\/p>

A kanadai pókeres pályafutása során összesen 12 millió dollárt keresett élő versenyeken,<\/strong>, és ráadásul ő az egyik olyan ritka világbajnok, aki világbajnoki cím megszerzése után<\/em> sorban söpörte be a hatszámjegyű nyereményeket.<\/p>

Az oldal egyetlen világbajnoka ezentúl a hatalmas marketingértékkel bíró Chris Moneymaker<\/strong> lesz, akit a nagy pókerláz kirobbantójaként ismerhetünk.<\/p>

Full Tilt IPO versenyek kezdődnek<\/h2>

Az Full Tilt közös projektbe kezdett az ír International Poker Opennel, hogy új UK & Ireland sorozatot indíthasson, amely a Full Tilt International Poker Open Tour<\/strong> nevet viseli majd.<\/p>

A sorozat első helyszíne a Star City Bray lesz Dublin külvárosában, ahol egy 250$-os Main Event kezdődik május 22-én.<\/strong> Sorozat következő megállói már Cork, London, Newcastle, Killarney és Limerick lesznek.<\/p>

Az International Poker Open Dublin 250$-os versenye is újra megrendezésre kerül majd a sorozat keretében a Regency Hotelben, október 22-én. Ez a verseny tavaly 1600 indulót vonzott<\/strong>, de ha abból indulunk ki, hogy a Full Tilt ezentúl selejtezőket biztosít, ez a létszám jóval nagyobb is lehet idén.<\/p>

Nem fizet a bank a Micro Millions bajnoknak<\/h2>

Egy olasz pókerjátékos, Ruideck<\/em> valódi tündérmesében találta magát, amikor 11$-ból sikerült 59 500$-t csinálnia a legutóbbi Micro Millions egyik versenyén. Ráadásul annyira megörült a nyereményének, hogy felmondott németországi munkahelyén, hogy profi pókerjátékosként folytathassa<\/strong><\/p>

Kellemetlen volt azonban az ébredés, mivel a német Unicredit bank megtagadta a nyeremény kifizetését<\/strong>. A német szerencsejáték-törvény nagyon összetett és ellentmondásos, és a bank úgy döntött, hogy illegális szerencsejátékból származó pénzként kezeli a közel 60 ezres nyereményt, ezért nem járul hozzá annak felvételéhez.<\/p>

Az Egyesült Királyság játékosait ez a veszély nem fenyegeti, különösen azután nem, hogy ebben a hónapban bemutatta a StarsCard<\/strong>-ot.<\/p>

Ez az első PokerStars márkajelzéssel ellátott Mastercard,<\/a> amely nagyban megkönnyíti majd a játékosok számára pókerszámlájuk elérését és kezelését, de egyelőre csak a UK-ban élő felhasználók számára lesz megvásárolható.<\/p>
