\nA döntő asztalon ismét bebizonyosodott, hogy a póker már nem csak az amerikaiak játéka, ugyanis a final table 8 résztvevője 5 különböző országból érkezett. Niki Jedlicka Ausztriából, Jeff Lisandro Olaszországból, Michael Sampeorna Monakóból, Mark Teltscher Angliából, ésl Jezz Garza, Tom Dwan, Erick Lindgren és Howard Lederer az USA-ból.\n

A hetedik és nyolcadik helyezett Garza és Dwan nagyon gyorsan kiesett. Eric Lindgrennek pedig nagyon nem volt szerencséje, szetet flopolt pocket királyokkal, de Michael Sampoerna egy sorral legyőzte, így bubble boyként hatodikként zárta a versenyt.<\/p>\n

Sampoerna nem sokkal később Niki Jedlickát is búcsúztatta, aki ötödikként 100.000 AUD $-os nyereménnyel térhetett haza.<\/p>\n

Negyedikként, 150.000 AUD $-ral Jeff Lisandronak kellett távoznia Mark Teltscher jóvoltából. Ezek alatt Lederer lassan feltornászta chipmennyiségét a vezető pozícióig és bár Sampoerna két nagyobb potot is elvitt előle, végül mégis visszavette elsőségét.
