Ezek után senki sem csodálkozik azon, hogy a PokerStars<\/a> leigazolta a fiatal tehetséget, aki év elején a bahamai EPT sideeventet is maga javára döntötte el (legyőzve a heads-upban edzőnket,  Florian 'fa_morgoth' Langmannt)<\/p>\n

Eastgate azóta már a 'High Stakes Poker' adásaiban is feltűnt, olyan sztárok oldalán, mint Barry Greenstein, Tom 'durrrr' Dwan és Ilari 'Ziigmund' Sahamies.<\/p>\n

Ezen túlmenően karitatív szerepet is vállal. A 'Friends of Eastgate<\/a>' alapítvány más pókerjátékosok segítségével világszerte próbál jobb életet teremteni a gyermekek számára.\n<\/p><\/div>

\n  Döntő asztal Londonban és Las Vegasban

\nEastgate ellenfele a WSOP Main Eventen Ivan Demidov volt. A Moszkvában született orosz játékos a második helyezéséért 5.809.505$-t kapott cserébe,  de nem csak itt hívta fel magára a figyelmet.\n<\/div>

\nAz $1.000 NL Hold'em Event alkalmával tizenegyedik lett, amiért 39.854$ ütötte a markát. Mielőtt a Main Event döntő asztalára került volna sor Las Vegasban, szeptemberben is az érdeklődés középpontjába került.\n

A WSOP Europe Londonban vendégeskedett, és első játékosként sikerült neki egyazon éven belül mindkét WSOP Main Eventen a döntő asztalra kerülni. Végül harmadik lett Londonban, amiért 608.995$-t vihetett haza.<\/p>\n

Ezeket a sikereket követően is többször ért el kiemelkedő eredményt, amivel kiérdemelte a PokerStars<\/a> Pro csapatba való bekerülését. Demidov el volt ragadtatva az ajánlattól és elárulta, hogy egy másik PokerStars<\/a> Pro játékos ihlette meg: \"Inspirációt jelentett számomra sikeres honfitársamat és a PokerStars Pro csapat tagját Alex Kravchenkot látni játszani - így igazán megtiszteltetés számomra, hogy mellette játszhatok ugyanabban a csapatban.\"<\/i><\/p>\n
