\n\"PokerA Poker Hall of Fame idén lett 30 éves. A tavalyi gyakorlathoz hasonlóan, idén is a WSOP Main Event döntő asztalával egyidőben, novemberben kerül sor az ünnepélyes ceremóniára. A Harrah's terve régóta az, hogy népszerűbbé teszi a Poker Hall of Fame eseményt, de az idei év akár mérföldkő is lehet, hiszen a jelöltek kiválasztásánál most a pókerközönség is szerepet kap.\n<\/div>

\nMájus 26. és július 2. között a WSOP honlapján lehet játékosokat vagy a pókerhez szorosan kötődő jelölteket ajánlani. Minden javaslattal csak egy nevet jelölhetünk, az indoklás pedig legfeljebb 250 szavas lehet.\n<\/div>\n

\n<\/p><\/div>

\nHa olyan pókerlegendákat szeretnénk a Hall of Fame-be juttatni, mint Barry Greenstein vagy Daniel Negreanu, akkor most itt a lehetőség, hogy mi írjuk a pókertörténelmet. A javaslatok összegyűjtése után a Harrah's a 2009-es WSOP Main Eventjén fogja a ismertetni a Top10-es listát, 2009-ben közülük kerülnek majd ki a Poker Hale of Fame új tagjai is.<\/p>

Augusztusban a Hall of Fame bizottsága egy teljes hónapig fogja elemezni a beérkezett ajánlásokat, és arról is dönteni fog, hogy kerüljön-e esetleg a jelöltek közé az ajánlások között fel nem bukkant új név. Ezt a véglegesített listát kapják meg ezután a Hall of Fame jelenlegi tagjai, és ők fognak egy végleges névsort készíteni, ide pedig már tényleg csak olyan jelöltek kerülnek, akik szerintük is méltók az elismerésre.<\/p>

Továbbá médiaszereplők egy csoportja is értékelni fogja a döntősöket, majd a bizottság ezt az értékelést is újra átnézi, segít kiszűrni a hibákat, és az esetleges holtversenyt. A 2009-es WSOP Main Event döntő asztalánál pedig ünnepélyes keretek között felavatnak minden olyan játékost, vagy pókerközéleti személyiséget, aki a szavazatok több mint 75%-át megkapta.<\/p>

A játékosok jelölésénél előfeltétel, hogy a legerősebb mezőnyben játsszon, magas limiten és persze mindezt sikeresen, hosszú évek óta. A nem pókerjátékos jelelöltek a pókerjáték elterjedésében és fejlődésében nyújtott vitathatatlan és kiemelkedő eredményeikkel érdemelhetik ki az elismerést.<\/p>

A PartyPoker közben már arra próbál ösztönözni többeket, hogy saját képviselőjüket, Mike Sextont jelöljék:\n<\/p>
