\"TommyCon questa vittoria al World Poker Tour Festa Al Lago, Tommy Vedes (foto a destra) ha battuto il suo record personale di vincite ai tornei, portandosi a casa l'incredibile cifra di 1.2 milioni di dollari. Il suo precedente miglior risultato era stato il 19º posto al Main Event delle WSOP di quest'anno che gli aveva fatto guadagnare 352.832$.<\/p>

Freddy Deeb invece ha dovuto rinunciare a vincere il suo terzo WPT classificandosi solo quarto, e vincendo 278.300$. Il secondo classificato Jason Lavallee ha vinto invece 795.150$ mentre il terzo, Craig Civello, ha portato a casa 477.090$.<\/p>

Vedes raddoppia grazie a Deeb e va in testa
\n<\/h2>

Con solo quattro giocatori ancora in gara, Vedes, grazie a Freddy Deeb,ha realizzato un fortunato raddoppio che si é rivelato cruciale per arrivare in pole position. Deeb era under the gun e ha rilanciato di 400.000. Vedes che aveva solo oltre 3 milioni di chips ha fatto un re-raise al button di 1.25 milioni.<\/p>

\"FreddyDeeb ha deciso di andare all-in dopo aver contato le chips di Vedes, il quale chiamando ha generato il piatto piú sostanzioso di tutto il torneo. Deeb ha mostrato e il' di Vedes era nettamente inferiore. Vedes era giá con un piedi fuori dalla gara quando al turn é arrivato, ma poi le cose si sono capovolte grazie al del river.<\/p>

Lavallee e Vedes: duello per il primo posto<\/h2>

In uno degli heads-up piú lunghi del torneo, Vedes é riuscito finalmente a battere Jason Lavallee dopo ben 51 mani. Vedes ha iniziato la partita con uno scarso vantaggio, ma poi nel resto della partita anche Lavallee é stato parecchie volte in testa, e ad un certo punto si é trovato addirittura ad essere in vantaggio di 4 a 1 su Vedes. Ma poi Vedes é riuscito a tornare in testa grazie a un raddoppio poche mani piú tardi.<\/p>

La mano decisiva della serata é partita con un rilancio di Vedes, a cui Lavalle ha risposto con un all-in dato il suo leggero vantaggio avendo . Vedes ha fatto instant-call mostrando , superando Lavallee. I cinque di Veldes gli hanno assicurato un vantaggio di 6 a 1 su Lavalle a cui restavano solo 12.5 big blinds nello  stack. Ancora un paio di mani e la gara era finita.<\/p>
