Avendo vinto il Main Event dell' Asia Pacific Poker Tour Cebu di PokerStars<\/a> dal buy-in pari a 2.000$, Dong-bin Han ha portato a casa ben 148.200$. Oltre ad essere il primo giocatore coreano a vincere un APPT, Han é anche il secondo in tutta l'Asia a farlo. <\/p>

David Hilton, l'ultimo giocatore eliminato, ha vinto 101.800$, mentre un altro coreano, Sim Somyung ha incassato 58.000$ per il suo secondo posto al tavolo finale dell'APPT. Le Filippine si sono dimostrate essere un terreno di gioco fertile per i pokeristi coreani, visto che tre di loro sono anche riusciti ad arrivare al tavolo finale del Main Event della seconda edizione dell'APPT Manila.<\/p>

\"Sim<\/h2>

I due coreani Han e Sim (foto a destra) si sono sfidati all'heads-up dopo aver dominato tutta l'azione dell'intera giornata. Lo stile di gioco aggressivo non ha ripagato del tutto il chip leader della serata Sim, che ha perso una bella fetta del suo chip stack nella fase iniziale della giornata. Nonostante queste perdite iniziali, Sim ha continuato a giocare duro riuscendo ad arrivare terzo alla fine.<\/p>

La stessa strategia di gioco, invece, ha funzionato molto bene per Han che ha applicato una pressione costante sui suoi avversari per tutta la durata della sessione. Dopo essere arrivato all'heads-up quasi in paritá di chips, Hilton é riuscito ad ottenere un vantaggio di 3 a 1 quasi subito, ma alla fine é dovuto soccombere alla pressione costante esercitata da Han.<\/p>

Han ha avuto sotto controllo tutto il duello, non si é mia fatto prendere dal nervosismo, nemmeno quando Hilton é riuscito a raddoppiare in qualche occasione. Nella mano decisiva per Han, Hilton é andato all-in con e Han ha fatto snap call con . Hilton aveva bisogno di un grosso aiuto, ma al river non é arrivato nulla, quindi la partita era conclusa. <\/p>
