Jaime si affianca al compagno di Formula1, Giancarlo Fisichella, testimonial della poker room.<\/p>

20 anni, di Barcellona, Jaime Alguersuari, è divenuto il più giovane pilota di Formula1 della storia partecipando al Gran Premio di Ungheria nel 2009, ha sempre avuto una grande passione per il poker e parteciperà da subito ai tornei e promozioni di PartyPoker. “Alcuni dicono che sono un novellino nella Formula1 e io aggiungerei lo stesso per il poker- ha affermato Jaime- mi piace questo gioco da tanto tempo, ma ho ancora molto da imparare. Ho guadagnato da poco i primi punti nella Formula1 e ora devo assicurarmi anche quelli con PartyPoker<\/a>. <\/p>

Giancarlo Fisichella, Campione italiano di Formula1, è stato il primo a congratularsi con Jaime per essere entrato nella squadra di PartyPoker . “Se Jaime ha una naturale propensione per il poker come ce l’ha per la guida, allora è il benvenuto nell’élite dei giocatori di poker della Formula1- ha commentato Giancarlo Fisichella- non voglio andare troppo nei dettagli, ma molti dei miei compagni sono buoni giocatori: Kubica, Alonso, Liuzzi, Heidfeld, Glock e Rosberg sono quelli che ho individuato. Amano tutti il poker! Da quello che ho visto, Jaime ha il giusto potenziale per essere uno dei migliori”. <\/p>

Jaime Alguersuari è nato il 23 marzo 1990 a Barcellona ed è diventato il più giovane pilota di Formula1 della storia e il primo pilota nato negli anni Novanta quando ha partecipato al Gran Premio di Ungheria nel 2009. Alguersuari ha iniziato la sua carriera nel 2005. Nel 2006, ha vinto il Campionato italiano invernale della Formula Renault, prima di arrivare secondo nel 2007. Nel 2008 partecipa al campionato inglese di Formula3 e vince le ultime tre gare della stagione per concludere il Campionato e ottiene il titolo invernale del più giovane vincitore nella storia a soli 18 anni e 203 giorni. <\/p>

Ha anche fatto le veci di Mark Webber nella Gara dei campioni allo Stadio Wembley nel dicembre 2008. Nel 2009 ha disputato nella Formula Renault 3.5. Entrato a metà della stagione di Formula1, si qualifica ottavo. Malgrado la promozione in F1 continua a partecipare nella FR 3.5. Dopo una settimana dal debutto in F1, Alguersuari rientra a gareggiare all’Autodromo Internazionale di Algarve, ottiene la sua prima pole e la sua prima vittoria nei Campionati. Alguersuari è riserva per la Gara Red Bull e la Scuderia Toro Rosso nella seconda metà della stagione 2009 della Formula1. <\/p>

Meno di due settimane dopo, viene annunciato che il pilota Sebastien Bourdais lascerà la squadra del Toro Rosso dopo il Gran Premio di Germania del 2009 e che al suo posto entrerà Alguersuari nel team partecipando al Gran Premio di Ungheria del 2009. Diventa così il più giovane pilota di Formula1 all’età di 19 anni e 125 giorni stracciando il record che era di Mike Thackwell. Toro Rosso mantiene Alguersuari per la stagione 2010, che arriva tredicesimo in Bahrain e undicesimo in Australia. Una settimana dopo, in Malasia , Alguersuari ottiene il suo primo punteggio classificandosi nono. Franz Tost, il responsabile della squadra Toro Rosso ha lodato le sue performance affermando che lo spagnolo aveva “fatto una gara fantastica”.
