Tra le altre federazioni che appartengono all'IMSA ci sono quelle di Go, scacchi, bridge e dama.<\/p><p>Dopo l'annuncio ufficiale, il presidente dell'IFP Anthony Holden (foto a destra) ha detto che questa nuova adesione &egrave; stato \"<em>un grande passo avanti nella nostra campagna di sensibilizzazione per il poker, affinch&egrave;&nbsp;questo venga accettato e riconosciuto in tutto il mondo come un gioco di abilit&agrave; e strategia.<\/em>\" <\/p><h2>Il poker ai Campionati del Mondo di Giochi Mentali del 2012<\/h2><p>Ora il poker parteciper&agrave; anche ai prossimi World Mind Sports Games (WMSG), che si terranno nel 2012 contemporaneamente alle Olimpiadi di Londra. I primi WMSG si sono svolti a Pechino in Cina dopo le Olimpiadi del 2008 e vi hanno partecipato 2.763 giocatori di 143 paesi diversi. <\/p><p>Il membro del consiglio direttivo dell'IFP, nonch&egrave; leggenda del poker, Doyle Brunson ha accolto con piacere la notizia e ha detto che \"<em>l' IFP merita tutta la nostra gratitudine e le nostre congratulazioni.
