Alle World Series of Poker 2009, Jeff Lisandro ha vinto ben tre braccialetti, tutti a eventi Stud ed è stato così eletto il Giocatore dell’Anno, consolidando la sua reputazione di esperto di Stud . Prima, nel 2007, aveva già portato a casa anche un altro braccialetto sempre a un evento Stud.<\/p>

Alle WSOP di quest’anno, Lisandro se n’è andato da Las Vegas a mani vuote, ma poi a Londra ha recuperato vincendo il suo primo braccialetto non-Stud al £5,250 Pot Limit Omaha Event #2. Anche il membro del Team PokerStrategy.com \"Admin\"Nazgul<\/a> ha partecipato a questo evento ma è uscito al Day 1.<\/p>

Vince l’esperienza di Lisandro<\/h2>

Oltre a Lisandro, al tavolo finale c’era anche un altro ex Giocatore dell’Anno delle WSOP, Jeff Madsen, che ha vinto il titolo nel 2006. Tra gli altri giocatori seduti al tavolo, c’erano il pro britannico Willie Tann, la leggenda svedese Chris Bjorin e il pro di Full Tilt John Racener. Tann è stato eliminato al terzo posto, così l’heads-up è stato un duello tra due generazioni, ovvero tra l’esperto Lisandro e il giovane Joe Serock. <\/p>

Serock aveva un vantaggio di oltre 2.5 a 1 all’inizio, ma Lisandro poi ha ribaltato la situazione finendo in testa. La mano finale è stata un all-in preflop con \"As\"\"Qs\"\"6s\"\"2c\" di Lisandro contro il \"Ks\"\"7s\"\"5h\"\"6h\" di Serock. Al board è arrivato \"9s\"\"Jh\"\"8d\"\"2d\"\"Js\", così Serock non ha concluso nulla, mentre Lisandro ha vinto il suo quinto braccialetto WSOP.<\/p>

Nazgul e Thorsten77 all’ Event #3<\/h2>

I membri del Team PokerStrategy.com \"Admin\"Thorsten77<\/a> e \"Admin\"Nazgul<\/a> finalmente entreranno in azione domenica all’Event #3 delle WSOPE, partecipando al Day 1C. Finora quasi 400 giocatori hanno pagato il buy-in da £1,075 per presenziare a questo evento di No Limit Hold'em. Per l’ultima giornata preliminare si prevede la partecipazine di altri 200.<\/p>

Al Day 1B, il canadese Wesley Pantling è diventato il chip leader, mentre Andrew \"luckychewy\" Lichtenberger è terzo. Solo 27 giocatori hanno superato la giornata e si uniranno ai 28 sopravvissuti del day 1A. Tra i grandi nomi eliminati al Day 1B troviamo Tom \"durrrr\" Dwan, Liv Boeree, Huck Seed, Phil Hellmuth e Phil Ivey.<\/p>
