L'EPT San Remo si è concluso, quindi resta solo un evento da disputare nel programma della 7ª edizione del PokerStars.net European Poker Tour: la Gran Finale a Madrid.<\/p>

La 7ª edizione è stata un grande successo, benchè non si siano raggiunti i numeri da record dell'affluenza della 6ª. Alla precedente edizione avevano infatti partecipato 9.157 giocatori rappresentanti 97 nazionalità diverse.<\/p>

La Gran Finale, comunque, sancirà un nuovo record: il montepremi attuale per questa edizione è infatti d oltre 43 milioni di Euro, ma non è ancora la cifra definitiva. Un'elevata partecipazione alla Gran Finale e il successo di diversi nuovi tornei con buy-in alti potrebbero far battere il bottino record della 6ª edizione dell'EPT, che era di 56.672.284€.<\/p>

Successo nella 7ª edizione<\/h2>

Quello che è rimasto uguale anche in questa edizione è che il PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) continua ad essere il maggior torneo del tour. <\/p>

In termini di iscritti ad unico evento è stato registrato un record: in 1.560 hanno partecipato al PCA Main Event, superando di poco la cifra di 1.529 dell'anno scorso. Il montepremi per l'evento era di 15.132.000$, e Galen Hall è stato abbastanza fortunato da portarsi a casa la maggior fetta, ovvero 2.300.000$.<\/p>

Nella 7ª edizione dell'EPT hanno potuto brillare stelle nuove e meno nuove del firmamento del poker. Nella top 10 dei giocatori della classifica del \"Player of the Year\" di questa edizione nessuno era presente l'anno scorso e solo Martin Jacobson è nella top 10 dell'all-time Leaderboard dell'EPT.<\/p>

Fernando Brito, un uomo d'affari portoghese ha registrato moltissimi successi diventando l'improbabile leader della classifica del \"Player of the Year\" della 7ª edizione. Brito si è classificato 6º al Main Event dell'EPT London incassando 226.910$, 1º in un torneo da 10.000€ di buy-in all'EPT Vienna portando a casa 90.000€, e 1º all'High Roller dell'EPT Barcellona con buy-in pari a 10.000€ vincendo 127.500€. Inoltre, si è piazzato bene anche in diversi tornei preliminari minori.<\/p>
