L'High Roller da 25.000€ del PokerStars.com EPT a Madrid è iniziato il 5 maggio e si è concluso il 7. All'evento al Casinò Gran Madrid hanno partecipato 58 giocatori che hanno sfidato un field di tutto rispetto per cercare di vincere una fetta del montepremi da 1.435.500€.<\/p>

Quattro membri di PokerStrategy hanno deciso di iscriversi all'evento - Tobias Reinkemeier, Phil Gruissem, Alexander Luber, e psychobenny.<\/p>

Tobias Reinkemeier ha vinto l'EPT Grand Final High Roller dell'anno scorso a Monte Carlo incassando 956.000€, ma purtroppo quest'anno non ha potuto fare il bis. Tobias ha trascorso gran parte del Day 2 battendosi con Tom 'Durrrr' Dwan, ma non ha passato il turno, finendo così a metà classifica.<\/p>

Tutti gli altri tre membri di PokerStrategy.com sono stati tra i 10 finalisti.<\/p>

Con i blind a 4.000\/8.000, Peter Jetten ha aperto un piatto con 24.000 da under the gun. Phil Gruissem ha effettuato una 3-bet, andando all-in con le sue 190.000 chips. Jetten ha chiamato e mostrato 7-7<\/strong>. Gruissem aveva \"Ks\"\"Jh\" ma non è riuscito a tenergli testa, uscendo al 10º posto.<\/p>

La permanenza al torneo di Alexander Luber è stata messa in pericolo in un grosso piatto contro Vanessa Rousso. I blind erano 4.000\/8.000, e Luber ha aperto un piatto con 16.000. La Rousso è andata all in, e Luber ha chiamato.  <\/p>

Il  \"Ah\"\"Th\" della Rousso dominava il \"As\"\"6s\" di Luber. <\/p>

Il board è stato  \"Qs\"\"3d\"\"7d\"\"Kc\"\"Qc\", così Vanessa ha raddoppiato riportando Luber a 3.000 chips, in un livello con ante da 1.000 chips.<\/p>

Alexander non sarebbe mai uscito senza combattere. Ha infatti trasformato le sue 3.000 in chips in 12.000 con \"4c\"\"Jd\". Poi da 12.000 è passato a 36.000 con \"Jh\"\"9c\" e da 36.000 a 80.000 con \"Kh\"\"7c\". Poi, ha raddoppiato ancora quando il suo \"Ac\"\"Kc\" ha battuto la coppia di otto di psychobenny Spindler.<\/p>

Proprio quando sembrava che fosse giunta l'ora di una rimonta epocale, la coppia di donne di Luber si è scontrata con quella di assi di Spindler. Questa volta, Luber non ha pescato nulla di buono ed è diventato il bubble boy del torneo, uscendo in 9ª posizione.<\/p>

All'inizio del tavolo finale, il chip leader era il campione del PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Galen Hall con 798.000 chips. psychobenny <\/em>e Juha Helppi lo seguivano a ruota con, rispettivamente, 710.000 e 707.000. Il resto del tavolo aveva decisamente meno chips rispetto a loro tre.<\/p>

Peter Jetten è stato il primo ad uscire, andando all-in con \"Ts\"\"Qd\" e subendo un call da Galen Hall che aveva \"As\"\"Kd\".<\/p>

Il successivo ad essere eliminato è stato proprio Galen Hall. psychobenny <\/em>aveva una coppia di donne quando si è ritrovato a giocare un piatto con Hall, il quale aveva due assi. psychobenny<\/em> ha pescato una donna al flop ed è riuscito a incassare tutto lo stack di Hall al river, ampliando la sua chip lead ed eliminando un avversario difficile.<\/p>

psychobenny <\/em>ha dominato il tavolo e, quando il gioco è diventato four handed, aveva più chips di tutti e tre gli altri avversari messi insieme. <\/p>

David Sands è stato battuto da psychobenny <\/em>finendo 4º, mentre ElkY <\/em>ha sconfitto Juha Helppi che si è classificato 3º. La partita heads-up è iniziata con  psychobenny <\/em>in vantaggio di circa 2-1 in termini di chips.<\/p>

Nella prima grossa mano dell'heads-up, ElkY <\/em>ha raddoppiato con una coppia di jack quando psychobenny <\/em>aveva la top pair, di dieci.<\/p>

ElkY <\/em>è andato in vantaggio per la prima volta con un rilancio al river con un board di \"Qh\"\"Ah\"\"Qs\"\"8h\"\"Kc\", e psychobenny <\/em>è stato obbligato a passare la sua mano. Entrambi hanno continuato a giocare in modo molto aggressivo.<\/p>

Alla fine, in un piatto limpato è arrivato un flop di \"2c\"\"9c\"\"4d\". ElkY <\/em>ha puntato 33.000, psychobenny <\/em>ha rilanciato a 90.000, ed ElkY <\/em>ha realizzato un re-raise di 223.000 chips. Il turn è stato il \"Jc\". ElkY <\/em>ha puntato 277.000 e psychobenny <\/em>ha chiamato. Al river è arrivato il \"9s\". ElkY <\/em>è andato all-in e psychobenny <\/em>ha chiamato con tutte le sue restanti chips.<\/p>

ElkY <\/em>ha mostrato \"9h\"\"4h\" realizzando un full e così il \"Kc\"\"9d\" di psychobenny<\/em> non è stato sufficiente. psychobenny <\/em>è uscito al 2º posto, ma fortunatamente ha vinto 316.000€, che di sicuro lo tireranno su di morale. ElkY <\/em>è il campione del torneo e tornerà a casa con 525.000€ ed il titolo dell'EPT Madrid High Roller.<\/p>
