Il Day 2 dell'European Poker Tour di San Remo si è concluso molto tardi, non prima delle 2 di mattina - dopo 12 ore di gioco ininterrotto<\/span>. L'evento si è fermato con 144 left; solo 16 in più dei 128 che andranno a premi.<\/span><\/p>

Si ripartirà oggi con il pro statunitense Joseph Cheong in prima posizione, con 632.000 chips. Cheong ha circa $4.8 milioni di vincite in carriera dei quali $4 milioni provengono dal terzo posto guadagnato al Main Event delle WSOP 2010<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>

Durante la giornata di ieri se ne sono viste delle belle, gli italiani ancora sui tavoli danno spettacolo. Sale in cattedra il solito Mustapha 'Mustacchione' Kanit che sfida a duello chiunque gli passi davanti. Le prende quasi tutte a Francesco Lo Faso in due mani e sale poderosamente nel chipcount. Lo Faso finisce alla posizione 85 con 128.500 chips, mentre Kanit termina la giornata in terza posizione con 577.000.<\/p>

Un altro scontro è avvenuto tra Antonio Pericolo e Manlio Iemina, dove Pericolo ha la meglio e rimane nella lista per il Day 3 in 124esima posizione con 68.000 chips.<\/p>

Vanessa Selbst ha iniziato la giornata con un grosso stack e dopo una solida performance finisce al sesto posto con 497.000 chips.<\/span><\/p>

Anche il vincitore dell'ultimo Main Event delle WSOPE, Elio Fox, ha avuto una giornata impressionante: inizia il Day 2 alla posizione 41 e finisce in undicesima con 346.000 chips. Ha giocato e runnato bene in Francia e sembra che le cose continuino in Italia.<\/p>

Taylor Paur (83), Shaun Deeb, (99) e Marco Traniello (112) hanno iniziato il Day 2 con degli stack importanti e hanno terminato la giornata lontanissimo dall'average. Per lo meno non hanno fatto la fine di Brandon Cantu - dal secondo posto all'eliminazione. <\/span><\/p>
