Il satellite per conquistare l'ultimo posto disponibile al mega-evento \"The Big One for One Drop\"<\/strong>, cappato a 48 giocatori, è stato vinto da Gus \"The Great Dane\" Hansen,<\/strong> che al momento sta battagliando con alcuni dei migliori giocatori del panorama pokeristico mondiale come Phil Hellmuth<\/strong>, Tom Dwan<\/strong>, Roland De Wolfe<\/strong>, Phil Ivey<\/strong>, l'organizzatore del torneo Guy Laliberté<\/strong>, Jason Mercier<\/strong> e lo strategista tedesco Tobias Reinkemeier<\/strong>.<\/p>

Infatti il \"Big One for One Drop\"<\/strong> iniziato il 1° Luglio è già in corso e ha già mietuto vittime eccellenti come Andrew Robl<\/strong>, Erik Seidel<\/strong> e Jonathan Duhamel<\/strong>.<\/p>

Tornando al recap del satellite, abbiamo visto 96 giocatori pronti a sborsare un buy-in di $25.300 e generare un prize-pool complessivo superiore a $2.000.000, che garantirà al vincitore l'accesso diretto al \"The Big One for One Drop\"<\/strong> ed al 2° classificato un premio di consolazione ( si fa per dire) di ben $1.000.000.<\/p>

Phil Ivey<\/strong> risulterà uno dei primi player bustati di questo satellite, seguito nella cattiva sorte da Erik Lindgren<\/strong>, Galen Hall<\/strong>, Eugene Katchalov<\/strong>, Viktor \"Isildur1\" Blom<\/strong> e Scott Seiver<\/strong>.<\/p>

Giunti al Final-Table, saranno ancora presenti giocatori di grande spessore come Sam Trickett<\/strong>, Bertrand \"Elky\" Grospellier<\/strong> e Shaun Deeb<\/strong>, chipleader del tavolo, seguito a breve distanza nel chipcount da Gus Hansen<\/strong>.<\/p>

Mentre Shaun Deeb<\/strong> eliminerà Will Failla<\/strong>, Gus \"The Great Dane\" Hansen<\/strong> farà una vera e propria strage di giocatori bustando in ordine: Alex Botolin<\/strong>, Hani Awad<\/strong>, Steve Meling<\/strong> e Jason sommerville<\/strong>, il che gli consentirà di giungere con un discreto margine di vantaggio all'Heads-up decisivo contro il temuto Shaun Deeb<\/strong>.<\/p>

Guardando attentamente quello che è successo all'heads-up, conclusosi nel giro di pochi minuti, possiamo trarne la conclusione che Shaun Deeb<\/strong> non avesse alcuna intezione di partecipare all'evento \"One Drop\"<\/strong>, ma mirava prevalentemente ad incassare il premio cash.<\/p>

Infatti la regola prevedeva che il vincitore del \"Sit\" sarebbe entrato di diritto nella lista dei partecipanti, mentre il 2° classificato sarebbe stato messo in una sorta di lista d'attesa e qualora all'ultimo momento qualcuno non si fosse presentato avrebbe preso il suo posto, altrimenti il premio ottenuto gli sarebbe stato convertito in denaro cash per un'ammontare di $1.000.000.<\/p>

Praticamente Shaun Deeb<\/strong> alla prima mano del testa a testa, con uno stack di 3.225.000 chips, raisa pre-flop per un importo che lo lascerà con sole 5.000 chips dietro per poi foldare alla c-bet di Hansen<\/strong>.<\/p>

Non vi sembra strano tale comportamento?<\/p>

Shaun Deeb<\/strong>, rimasto con solo gli spiccioli, concluderà il \"Sit\" con la seguente mano:<\/p>

Certo riflettondoci un po' su, penso che anche noi avremmo fatto lostesso al suo posto.<\/p>

Perche' affrontare un field di 48 mostri sacri del poker quando arrivando 2° inacasso la bellezza di $1.000.000?<\/p>
