Consueto appuntamento con la rubrica ranking: buone notizie dagli italiani, qualche volto noto fa capolino tra i primi mentre ad uscire dalle classifiche GPI è un certo Viktor Blom...<\/i><\/p>

Nonostante il WPT di Malta, poche le variazioni tra i top player nel GPI 300 Index.<\/p>

Tra i primi dieci, infatti, tutto tace: le posizioni rimangono invariate e anche gli score totali cambiano solo di qualche punto.<\/p>

Per vedere qualche cambiamento significativo, quindi, bisogna andare a rovistare nelle retrovie, dove spicca certamente l'ingresso nei primi 100 di David Benyamine<\/strong>.<\/p>

L'highstaker francese, recente vincitore di un evento Omaha al WPT parigino di inizio mese, guadagna trenta posizioni assestandosi al numero 97.<\/p>

I principali progressi, come vedremo, riguardano però i protagonisti del Main Event del WPT maltese.<\/p>

Sull'altro lato della barricata da segnalare i cali di Justin Bonomo e David Williams, che perdono rispettivamente 19 e 24 posti.<\/p>

Qualcosa si muove, invece, nella classifica Player of the Year 2012. <\/p>

A dirla tutta, tra i primi dieci ancora poca roba: David Baker<\/strong> scalza dal quinto posto Jonathan Duhamel<\/strong>, gli altri sono stabili. Al numero 16, però, irrompe prepotentemente l'italo-gallese Roberto Romanello<\/strong>, che già nel GPI 300 è a un passo dai dieci.<\/p>

Già, Romanello, che alle WSOPE ha fatto \"leggermente arrabbiare\" tale Phil Hellmuth Jr.<\/strong>: anche il leggendario player americano risale di sedici posizioni entrando tra i primi 30 della classifica 2012.<\/p>

Merita la citazione, infine, un altro giocatore molto costante quest'anno: parliamo dell'olandese Govert Metaal<\/strong>, già vincitore di un evento High Roller dell'EPT di Campione: sette ITM tra giugno e settembre lo portano fino alla posizione numero 55 del POY.<\/p>

Ecco la graduatoria completa, che vede sempre in testa Dan Smith seguito da Lichtenberger e Rettenmaier.<\/p>

Dicevamo del WPT di Malta: purtroppo per noi italiani, nonostante fossero rimasti due nostri rappresentanti tra gli ultimi tre in gara, ad aggiudicarsi il torneo è stato Yorane Kerignard<\/strong>.<\/p>

Beh, non si può dire che la vittoria non abbia avuto il suo effetto sulle classifiche, visto che il francese ha guadagnato ben 119 posizioni fino ad arrivare al numero 190.<\/p>

Tra i players noti in risalita troviamo anche Allen Cunningham <\/strong>e lo svedese Chris Bjorin<\/strong>.<\/p>

Quando si parla si Svezia e poker, però, viene subito in mente Viktor Blom<\/strong>, alias Isildur1: l'enfant prodige di Ranas, perdendo 32 posizioni, è uscito dalla Top 300, mentre a rientrarci dopo due settimane di assenza è stato il rumeno Dan Murariu.<\/p>

Lo scettro dei Top 10 Up della settimana, tuttavia, se lo aggiudica Tyler Patterson<\/strong>: due in the money in due giorni a Malta e ben 296 posizioni guadagnate in classifica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Isaia e Genovesi, che salti!<\/h2>

Non è difficile immaginare quali siano i protagonisti italiani della settimana: Jackson Genovesi<\/strong> e Alessio Isaia<\/strong>, rispettivamente secondo e terzo nel Main Event del WPT di Malta, ci han fatto sognare a lungo prima di fermarsi a un passo dalla vittoria.<\/p>

Grandissimo torneo, e meritati gli effetti positivi sulla classifica (oltre che sul portafogli). In particolare Genovesi, che fino alla scorsa settimana a stento era tra i primi 300 italiani, compie un mostruoso salto di 212 posizioni e va ad occupare il 73° posto del ranking nazionale.<\/p>

In quanto ad Isaia, il podio maltese lo porta a un passo dalla Top 3 tricolore: scalza tra gli altri il braccialettato Rocco Palumbo e si assesta al quarto posto, a una settantina di punti di distanza dal nostro \"genio\" Castelluccio. Notevole il progresso anche nella Top 300 GPI: posizione 140, 56 posti meglio della settimana scorsa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Money List: Trickett si prende il podio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Abbiamo già avuto occasione di parlare ampiamente di Sam Trickett<\/strong> e di questo suo straordinario 2012, condito dal secondo posto al Big One for One Drop e da un milioncino portato via recentemente da Macao.<\/p>

Tuttavia l'inglese non sembra volersi accontentare: sfonda il muro degli undici milioni di guadagno annuali e tira giù dal podio una leggenda vivente come Erik Seidel.<\/p>

A proposito di milionari: Antonio Esfandiari<\/strong> avrà pure vinto spiccioli questa settimana, perché tali sono i $164.656 di Cannes a confronto dei mostruosi 18 milioni di Las Vegas, ma un altro braccialetto WSOP impreziosisce ulteriormente la sua annata.<\/p>

The Magician conquista così il terzo centro alle World Series della carriera, affiancando altre prestigiose triplette come quelle di Sam Farha e Barry Greenstein.<\/p>

Esfandiari&Trickett: chi ci riesce li fermi. <\/p>

Un river può valere tanto, anche un milione di dollari. Tanto è valso, infatti, l'asso pescato da Yorane Kerignard al WPT che gli ha permesso di eliminare Genovesi e di superare il milione di premi in carriera.<\/p>

A fronte dell'exploit del francese, arriva quello di un giocatore che forse sarà meno noto ma pure nel 2008 è andato a prendersi un braccialetto in quel di Las Vegas, ovvero il canadese Max Greenwood<\/strong>: la sua campagna europea dell'ultimo mese gli ha portato quasi $50.000, quanto basta per entrare nel club dei milionari.<\/p>

Ora sono 918: il muro dei mille, Macao permettendo, dovrebbe essere sfondato nel 2013.<\/p>
