I Roy<\/strong> devono avere qualcosa in più in questo periodo: appena archiviato il trionfo di Jonathan Roy<\/strong> al WPT di Montreal, al World Poker Tour di Mazagan<\/strong>, in Marocco, alla fine dei Day 1a e 1b troviamo secondo in chips Alain Roy<\/strong>.<\/p>

Se il primo Roy<\/strong>, tuttavia, aveva un solo risultato discreto alle spalle, in questo caso cambia tutto, visto che Alain è uno dei giocatori francesi più vincenti, decimo nell'all-time money list nazionale e vincitore della tappa 2008 del Partouche Poker Tour.<\/p>

In testa alla classifica, tuttavia, non c'è lui ma il meno esperto Clement Beauvois<\/strong>, mentre troviamo nettamente sopra average l'italiano Giacomo Fundarò<\/strong>.<\/p>

Ancora in gioco gran parte dei big: fatta ceccezione per Kara Scott <\/strong>e David Benyamine<\/strong> ci sono tutti, alcuni dei quali grazie al re-entry del Day 1b. A tenere alta la bandiera strategista troviamo Daniel<\/strong> junglemandan Cates<\/strong>, in questi giorni impegnato anche nel lato online con il PokerStrategy.com Heads-up Championship<\/strong>, sul quale potete trovare aggiornamenti a questo link<\/a> (in inglese).<\/p>

Bene anche le donne: fatta eccezione per la già citata Scott, ce ne sono cinque ancora in gioco tra cui Lucille Cailly<\/strong> e Gaelle Bauman<\/strong>, che quest'anno ha sfiorato il Final Table al Main Event WSOP. E le gentili donzelle si fanno rispettare alla grande, visto che tutte le sopravvissute sono sopra l'average.<\/p>

Il campione finlandese è incocciato in un Barcode <\/strong>in piena forma che gli ha portato via tutte le vincite del giorno precedente più sessantamila dollari, rovinando la settimana a Ziigmund.<\/p>\n

Tra i giocatori in attivo si segnala NyPogadi11<\/strong>, per la seconda volta tra i più vincenti con un guadagno di $153.266, mentre al quarto posto della graduatoria troviamo Alexander \"Kanu7\" Millar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In rosso, oltre a Sahamies, l’unico nome noto è quello di patpatman<\/strong>, che perde $88.305 ponendo fine a un periodo di upswing, mentre HeadShotFyoV annulla praticamente le vincite di un’intera settimana restando con poco più di duemila dollari di attivo.<\/p>\n

Texas Dolly<\/strong> ieri ha ripreso in mano il suo blog dopo qualche giorno di silenzio e ha parlato del campione canadese: una volta tanto, tuttavia, non l’ha attaccato per i suoi eccessi di critica ma si è dichiarato d’accordo con lui sulla questione dello shot-clock<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Un’uscita che la dice lunga su tante cose: Brunson è cresciuto circondato da un poker di stampo classico e dovrebbe essere abtuato alle lunghe attese, tanto più che lui non è mai stato un giocatore ad alta velocità, per così dire.<\/p>\n

Esatto, questa. Il grande Johnny Chan<\/strong> ha J<\/b>\"\"9<\/b>\"\", Erik Seidel<\/strong> ha Q<\/b>\"\"7<\/b>\"\". Il flop è disgraziato per Seidel, visto che Q<\/b>\"\"T<\/b>\"\"8<\/b>\"\" danno a Chan la scala nut e a lui top pair.<\/p>

Possibile salvarsi? Certamente. Chan punta, Seidel rilancia e di fronte a un all-in dell’avversario potrebbe valutare un laydown. Ma Chan chiama, sperando che la turn card non freezi l'action, e poi checka dietro su un ininfluente 2<\/b>\"\".<\/p>

Al river cala un 6<\/b> e la trappola scatta: Seidel va all-in e Chan è il campione del mondo.<\/p>
