Giannetti spezza un altro cuore<\/h2>

Ci è andata davvero vicina, Lily Kiletto<\/strong> a diventare la prima donna a vincere un evento open del World Poker Tour. In passato, infatti, Van Nguyen aveva vinto un evento a inviti e c'era stato qualche successo nei circuiti National.<\/p>

Ebbene, a stoppare la corsa della Kiletto è stato un nome di quelli di rango, ovvero Matt Giannetti<\/strong>, uno che aveva vinto già un WPT a Malta e, cosa curiosa, anche in quell'occasione superando in heads-up una gentil donzella, la nostra Cecilia Pescaglini<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La mano che ha deciso il Lucky Hearts Poker Open<\/strong> ha visto da una parte Giannetti con 8<\/b>\"\"8<\/b>\"\" e dall'altra la Kiletto con 8<\/b>\"\"7<\/b>\"\". Il player americano ci ha pensato un paio di minuti prima di chiamare l'all-in dell'avversaria che, a parte un flushdraw al turn, non ha pescato nulla lasciando nelle mani di Giannetti $323.804.<\/p>

Quando si dice una toccata e fuga.<\/p>

La permanenza di Tom \"durrrr\" Dwan<\/strong> in vetta ai vincenti del 2013 è durata due giorni, il tempo necessario per perdere quasi un milione e ridimensionare le sue vincite. Dwan, infatti, ha concluso l'ultima sessione a -$693.399, staccando di gran lunga punting-peddler<\/strong> come loser del giorno.<\/p>

Chi invece è resuscitato è stato Phil \"Polarizing\" Ivey<\/strong>, che un po' di soldini li ha portati via anche a durrrr chiudendo a +$582.101. Distantissimo, ma comunque bene, Hac \"trex313\" Dang<\/strong>, che ha vinto $180.471.<\/p>

Le classifiche generali, così, variano solo per i personaggi che abbiamo citato, con Dwan che scompare dai vincenti e Ivey e Dang che lasciano i perdenti, dove ritorna punting-peddler. A sostituirli dal lato dei winner Ronny Kaiser<\/strong> e dall'altro il tedesco kagome kagome<\/b>.<\/p>

Abbiamo già parlato a lungo dell'ISPT<\/strong>, il tour che puntava (e punta) a portare migliaia di giocatori negli stadi a giocare.<\/p>\n

Il nostro Barry Carter era scettico<\/a> sul progetto e probabilmente ci aveva visto lungo, se è vero che il tour patrocinato da Laurent Tapie e diretto da Prosper Masquelier in questi mesi ne ha viste di tutti i colori, dal ridimensionamento del montepremi<\/strong> garantito alla trasformazione del Day 1 da live ad online<\/strong>, presentato come \"formula innovativa\" ma, secondo molti, indice di debolezza.<\/p>\n

Ebbene, i primi satelliti online<\/strong>, nonostante i buy-in molto contenuti (da $2,20 a $11), sono andati deserti<\/strong> e iniziano ad esserci seri dubbi sulla fattibilità del progetto che mira a sbarcare a Wembley ma, evidentemente, non riscuote la fiducia degli appassionati.<\/p>\n

C'è poco altro da dire, se non una curiosità: tra i pochi satelliti conclusi c'è quello organizzato dalla room online del Partouche, che fa capo proprio a Masquelier.<\/p>\n

Qualcuno ricorda quale tour recentemente ha annunciato un garantito per poi fare retromarcia e cedere solo dopo lunghe proteste?<\/p>\n<\/div>

Ci sono errori che, con tutta la buona volontà possibile, da un professionista non te li aspetti proprio.<\/p>\n

Ad esempio Vanessa Selbst<\/strong>, in questa mano, ingaggia una battaglia con Prahlad Friedman<\/strong> pur avendo solo un jack e un sette in mano. Fin qui, però, sono questioni di read...<\/p>\n

Il problema è che la Selbst si committa con l'ennesimo raise e, di fronte all'all-in dell'avversario, si trova costretta a chiamare e a sbattere contro i suoi assi nonostante il triplo board concessole (immeritatamente) dall'avversario.<\/p>\n
