Stavolta di certo non ha potuto prendersela con l'avversario che lo ha mandato al tappeto. Anche perché, se pure l'avesse fatto, non avrebbe avuto soddisfazione: è difficile che un pavimento ti risponda, di solito sono poco loquaci.<\/p>

Ad ogni modo il Day 2 del Main Event delle WSOP Asia-Pacific non è stato positivo per Phil Hellmuth<\/strong>, finito a terra per ben due volte. La prima, fisicamente, quando ha provato a sedersi e ha trovato dietro di sè il vuoto atterrando sonoramente al tappeto: cose che capitano, specie se non sei propriamente mattiniero nella sveglia.<\/p>

La seconda, invece, è stata quando il suo A-K è stato snapcallato da un avversario con due assi in mano e lì è finito il suo torneo. Poco male per PokerBrat, che comunque avrà l'occasione di rifarsi con la Caesars Cup e l'ha presa sportivamente: in fondo a fargli compagnia ci sono tanti eliminati eccellenti, da Greg Merson<\/strong> a Brandon Cantu<\/strong>, passando per Ausmus, Vamplew, Trickett e Marvin xcrash154 Rettenmaier<\/strong>.<\/p>

Chi invece a cadere non ci pensa nemmeno è PokerKid, al secolo Daniel Negreanu<\/strong>, che nella seconda giornata di gare ha continuato ad ammassare chips con assoluta nonchalance chiudendo nuovamente la giornata nelle primissime posizioni. <\/p>\n

Diverso il destino di Phil Ivey<\/strong>, partito brillantemente ma poi scontratosi contro Daniel Laidlaw<\/strong>, solido player locale quest'anno vicino al Final Table degli Aussie Millions, che ha operato due raddoppi consecutivi a sua spese mandandolo da oltre centomila a circa quarantamila chips. Ivey uscirà poco dopo, ma prima di lui verrà eliminato Laidlaw, costretto a consegnare lo stack a Jeff Lisandro<\/strong> in una mano segnata: \"a\"\"a\" Daniel, \"a\"\"a\" Jeff e flop \"a\"\"a\"\"a\". Niente cuori tra turn e river e l'italo-australiano viene lanciato nelle zone alte del chipcount, anche se poi chiuderà la giornata in calo.<\/p>\n

Intanto a ridosso dei Top Ten si installano player di grido: tra loro Benny Spindler<\/strong>, poi Jonathan Karamalikis<\/strong> che sta giocando delle WSOP straordinarie (secondo nel primo evento, ITM nel quarto) e infine Jim Collopy<\/strong>, che un braccialetto l'ha già vinto. Bene anche Duhamel, Seidel, Esfandiari e Kovalchuk, mentre tra il disappunto del pubblico di casa a fine giornata abbandona la truppa l'ex campione del mondo Joe Hachem<\/strong>. Alla fine la chipleading è di Winfred Yu<\/strong>, giocatore di Hong Kong e habituè di Macao.<\/p>\n

Ecco il chipcount quando restano in gioco meno di un quarto degli iscritti all'evento. <\/p>\n<\/div>
