Ci piace. Il primo super Main <\/strong>delle prime WSOP <\/strong>asiatiche non sarà certamente ricordato come un flop <\/strong>(e non s'intende di quelli con tre carte): sono infatti tantissimi i nomi di lusso che si contenderanno il day 4<\/strong> e punteranno dritti alla finale. C'è ancora Daniel Negreanu<\/strong>, che continua a dare spettacolo, a rompere bonariamente le scatole e a raggranellare chips, c'è il Mago Esfandiari<\/strong>, che è riuscito con zampate pesanti a portarsi a ridosso dei primissimi. Ma soprattutto sembra in gran forma Benny Spindler<\/strong>, nettamente fra i giocatori più \"hot<\/strong>\" e possessore di uno stack con il quale si possono fare grandi cose. E c'è il rimpianto di Lisandro<\/strong>, uscito malissimo (più avanti vedremo come).<\/p>

Si parte con un po' di \"moscerìa<\/strong>\": l'action stenta a decollare e i giocatori sembrano rispettarsi oltre <\/strong>il dovuto. Il primo big <\/strong>a crollare dalla torre è Daniel Shak<\/strong>, i cui Cowboys vengono scoppiati come due popcorn da un anonimo (e letale) paio di 8 (l'americano uscirà poco dopo). Destino fatale anche a Greenstein<\/strong>, i cui K soccombono contro un set di ganci<\/strong> dopo showdown preflop. Il \"povero\" Barry <\/strong>riceverà la mazzata conclusiva pochi minuti più tardi, e sempre in modo abbastanza atroce: \"q\"\"j\" la sua mano, \"8\"\"8\" quella dell'avversario. A terra scendono una regina <\/strong>e un fante <\/strong>che danno la doppia a Greenstein, ma ci sarebbero anche due 8<\/strong> che regalano all'avversario un poker <\/strong>non proprio di quelli leggibili.<\/p>

The Magician rules<\/h2>

Le eliminazioni importanti si susseguono ora rapidamente, con l'alzarsi dei bui. Perdiamo Krost<\/strong>, Gorr<\/strong>, Karamalikis<\/strong>, Neilson<\/strong>, Hachem<\/strong>, Duhamel<\/strong>... Va molto meglio invece ad Antonio Esfandiari<\/strong>, che dopo un torneo molto previdente riesce a trovare il bersaglio giusto in Rupert Elder <\/strong>(che poi si laureerà uomo bolla), contro il quale centra un raddoppio fondamentale grazie al classico cooler KK <\/strong>vs QQ<\/strong>.<\/p>

Il torneo comincia a delinearsi, e a condurlo (con stack estremamente solidi rispetto al resto della ciurma) passano l'October Nine Russel Thomas<\/strong> (tante buone carte per lui, ma bisogna anche saperle giocare) e soprattutto il ciuffone castano di Benny Spindler<\/strong>, che a tratti è sembrato inarrestabile.<\/p>

Non è andata altrettanto bene al nostro Jeff Lisandro<\/strong> che, invece, è uscito solo 35esimo (guadagna comunque qualcosina) e nel modo peggiore possibile. Fatale un battibecco a metà day con Eddie Tran<\/strong>, il quale aveva denunciato l'italo-australiano per aver risposto al cellulare. Immediato arrivo del floorman che si limita a redarguire Lisandro, raccogliendo le ulteriori imprecazioni di Tran, volte alla richiesta di un'espulsione per cinque minuti <\/strong>dal tavolo. A quel punto Lisandro s'indispettisce e chiede a Tran di farla finita.<\/p>

I due si guardano in cagnesco <\/strong>per qualche decina di minuti, finché non si affrontano direttamente sul campo. Ad avere la peggio è proprio Lisandro <\/strong>(oltretutto con \"j\"\"j\" contro \"j\"\"j\" e un maledetto \"j\" sul flop). Finale incandescente, con Tran che festeggia come se avesse vinto la Champions League<\/strong> battendo da solo tutto il Real Madrid<\/strong>, e Lisandro che turna in \"rosik mode<\/strong>\" borbottando sommessamente un \"Who's the gentlemen<\/em>?\", prima di raccogliere il classico \"vaffa<\/em>\" dell'avversario. Personalmente preferisco uscire sulla bolla <\/strong>che in questo modo.<\/p>

C'è ancora spazio per l'avanzata di Danielino Negreanu<\/strong>, che oggi ha giocato d'attesa, e che va a sfruttare un \"s\"\"d\" contro l'\"j\"\"5\" di Burns <\/strong>e flop più cruento possibile: \"9\"\"9\"\"5\". Il canadese si porta nelle prime posizioni, anche se fra il quartetto di testa e gli altri resta un gap considerevole. Al Crown di Melbourne<\/strong> si continua a giocare domani, per scolpire nel marmo il tavolo finale: per adesso vediamo la classifica <\/strong>e i tavoli di partenza<\/strong> del day 4, con un primo table davvero terribile <\/strong>in confronto all'altro, sia per stack che per valori tecnici sulla carta.<\/p>
