La nostra newsbox si rinnova: dopo qualche mese abbiamo deciso per un restyling. Una versione più compatta e veloce da leggere, aggiornamenti come sempre continui, il meglio degli highstakes e le domande di zio Donk. Sperando che vi piaccia e che continuiate a seguirci come in questi mesi.<\/i><\/p>

Un weekend da ricordare per Gruissem.<\/i><\/font><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>

In attesa dell'atto conclusivo delle prima WSOP Asia-Pacific<\/strong>, il tavolo finale del Main Event previsto per oggi, la bandiera Strategista sventola alta sul cielo di Melbourne.<\/p>

Cominciamo dall'evento high-roller da $50.000, che ha visto trionfare Phil philgruissem Gruissem<\/strong>: il tedesco si è imposto in heads-up su un avversario mica da ridere come Joseph Cheong<\/strong>, che in precedenza aveva eliminato in bolla Rettenmaier, ed ha portato a casa una prima moneta da $825.000. Dietro i primi due quattro player asiatici, tra cui due provenienti da Macao, segno che da quelle parti stanno imparando anche a giocare oltre che ad organizzare.<\/p>

L'altro evento \"complementare\", di quelli che non assegnavano braccialetti, previsto per il weekend era la Caesars Cup Invitational<\/strong>: il capitano europeo Sam Trickett è stato l'ultimo a scoprire le sue carte, selezionando ben tre Strategisti su quattro posti disponibili. Oltre a Sam Holden, Final Table alle WSOP del 2011, erano infatti della partita il già citato Gruissem, Dominik ace0ntheriver Nitsche<\/strong> e Marvin xcrash154 Rettenmaier<\/strong>.<\/p>

Ebbene, nonostante i pronostici vedessero favorito il Team Usa, che poteva contare tra gli altri su Ivey e Negreanu, a vincere è stata proprio la squadra europea. Trickett e compagni hanno prima eliminato il Team Asia-Pacific di Joe Hachem<\/strong> vincendo due partite su tre, e quindi non hanno lasciato scampo agli americani, sovrastati in sole due partite.<\/p>

E intanto, attendendo il gran finale, vi lasciamo col pay-out dell'evento High-Roller. <\/p>

Se in testa ai Top Winners dell'anno resta il russo Kostritsyn, infatti, l'ultima settimana è stata tutta roba dello svedese: Isildur1<\/strong> ha portato a casa un attivo di oltre $800.000, gran parte del quale accumulato nel weekend.<\/p>

Prima è arrivata una sessione da più di $700.000, poi l'ultima da $146.833. Robetta, verrebbe da dire, con l'americano SallyWoo<\/strong> a guidare i \"cortesi\" donatori con $65.011 in meno sul bankroll.<\/p>

Il peggiore della settimana, tuttavia, è Kyle Ray<\/b>, che è stato vittima di Isildur1 nella sua migliore sessione e si trova a piangere quasi mezzo milione. Tra i player in attivo, invece, da segnalare la seconda posizione di giornata di Daniel junglemandan Cates<\/strong>.<\/p>

Ventuno ancora in gioco e i nomi noti non mancano.<\/p>\n

Il Seminole Hard Rock Showdown<\/strong>, tappa di Hollywood del World Poker Tour, vede per ora nelle prime posizioni tanti giocatori di spessore: basti pensare a Tony Ruberto<\/strong>, che un WPT l'ha vinto nel 2011 a Jacksonville, oppure al grande Faraz Jaka<\/strong>, terzo in chips.<\/p>\n

E ancora: un David Tuthill<\/strong> che comincia a impressionare per continuità, Jeff Madsen<\/strong> e, sotto average, Matt Salsberg <\/strong>e Matt Giannetti<\/strong>. E dire che nel Day 3 sono usciti nomi altisonanti come quelli di Jason Mercier<\/strong> e Jonathan Little<\/strong>, nonchè uno Shaun Deeb<\/strong> chipleader all'inizio della giornata.<\/p>\n
