Per modo di dire, visto che comunque olekonjole ha dominato l'evento Omaha e Marvin Rettenmaier<\/strong> ha portato a casa il Side Turbo per €43.400. Tuttavia al tavolo finale del Super High Roller Event di Monte Carlo non c'è nessuno dei nostri.<\/p>

A guidare, e che lo diciamo a fare, il solito Jason Mercier<\/strong>, che nel Principato sta vivendo un periodo eccezionale. Oltre quattro milioni di chips per lui, più del doppio del secondo in un tavolo che, cosa normale per i tornei High Roller, include fior di big: tra gli altri troviamo Scott Seiver, Sorel Mizzi, Mike Watson<\/strong> e Max \"AltiFC\" Altergott<\/strong>. Non ci sarà invece Erik Seidel<\/strong>, uomo bolla del tavolo finale.<\/p>

Il resto della Scandinavia, a furia di sentire parlare solo di Viktor Blom<\/strong>, si è offesa.<\/p>

Questa è l'unica spiegazione possibile per i risultati dell'ultima sessione, che ha visto come protagoniste tutte le nazioni nordiche eccezion fatta per la Svezia. In testa ai vincenti, ad esempio, c'è il danese Jannick Wrang<\/strong>, che porta a casa $152.644, spillandoli in buona parte ad un norvegese, ovvero Odd_Oddsen<\/strong>. Sempre tra i perdenti troviamo al terzo posto bernard-bb<\/strong>, uno che in teoria non avrebbe una nazionalità ufficiale ma che secondo molti sarebbe il player finlandese Ilkka Koskinen<\/strong>.<\/p>

E la Svezia? Beh, Blom ha giocato ed è andato pure in attivo ma, udite udite, il suo bilancio positivo è di poco meno di centomila dollari, davvero spiccioli considerando i suoi standard. Così le classifiche generali rimangono invariate, sia quelle mensili che quelle di tutto il 2013: Isildur1 resta in testa ai vincenti del mese e dell'anno, Tollerene è il peggiore di maggio e il bilancio di Gus Hansen, Top Loser del 2013, si sposta solo di poche centinaia di dollari.<\/p>

Attenzione, però: i giorni in cui gli highstakers dormono sono l'eccezione, non la regola... <\/p>

Ci è voluto l'aiuto della grande tradizione del Dusk Till Dawn, ma alla fine l'International Stadium Poker Tour è partito con la sua prima giornata live. Il responsable Rob Yong<\/strong> ha spiegato che ai tavoli si sono seduti 467 giocatori per cercare di conquistarsi l'accesso alla seconda giornata.<\/p>\n

Interlocutorio il bilancio dei satelliti online, che erano partiti molto male<\/a>: alla fine, a fronte di un target di 50 qualificati, ne sono stati raggiunti 46, decisamente meglio delle previsioni iniziali. A guidare la classifica è Barrie Price<\/strong> con 183.800 chips.<\/p>\n

Per il Day 2, previsto per la fine del mese, l'obiettivo è decisamente più ambizioso: si parla di raggiungere i 1.850 giocatori iscritti.<\/p>\n

Mandare in confusione Daniel Negreanu non è facile: Scott Seiver ci riesce con una puntata al river. L'americano ha legato doppia e vuol dare l'idea di un bluff, difficile leggere quella mano per KidPoker. Alla fine, però, dopo lunghe riflessioni prevale il sesto senso e arriva il fold.<\/p>\n
