Avevano iniziato in 235 questo day 3 dell'EPT di Barcellona<\/strong>, che già s'è laureato come un grande successo, essendo uno dei più prolifici di sempre<\/strong> (il secondo, in ordine di iscritti).<\/p>

Alla fine del terzo giorno sono rimasti solo in 79, ma altri 84 giocatori - nonostante l'esclusione - possono comunque tornare a casa propria con le tasche gonfie di denaro. La bolla<\/strong>, infatti, è scoppiata intorno alla 184esima posizione, e stranamente nessuno c'è rimasto male.<\/p>

Già, perché a uscire nella posizione più frustrante del torneo è stato un assente<\/strong>, vale a dire il portoghese Nuno Da Camara<\/strong>, che dopo aver ben figurato nei primi due day ha disertato il terzo, vedendosi eliminato pian piano dai bui.<\/p>

Di tutt'altro tenore la giornata di Thomas Middleton<\/strong>: l'inglese, il cui risultato di rilievo è un 3° posto in un evento delle World Series del 2011, è l'unico ad aver imbustato più di un milione di gettoni e veleggia alto a caccia della prima moneta<\/strong>. Che è, anch'essa, poco sopra il milione, ma questa volta si parla di Euro.<\/p>

C'è ancora qualche nome<\/h2>

Non è un field impossibile, visto che tra i giocatori rimasti non ci sono troppi top players<\/strong>. Ma scorrendo la classifica troviamo in ogni caso nomi piuttosto interessanti: Kevin Vandersmissen <\/strong>è terzo, con uno stack davvero impressionante. Niall Farrell <\/strong>è quinto, anche lui ben oltre i 100 BB. E poi ben messi abbiamo Thomas Butzhammer <\/strong>e Andreas Christoforou<\/strong>, mentre campeggia attorno ai 40 BB il belga Cristophe De Meulder<\/strong>. Attenzione anche a Lundmark<\/strong>, Danchev <\/strong>e Pobal<\/strong>: solo il primo è sopra average, ma tutti e tre possono far valere l'esperienza, essendo gli unici ad aver già vinto<\/strong> un main event dell'European Poker Tour.<\/p>

E gli italiani<\/strong>? Il day 3 è stato una piccola ecatombe<\/strong>: s'erano presentati in 13, fra cui nomi molto interessanti, ma 10 di loro non andranno avanti, quantunque quasi tutti siano finiti in the money<\/strong>. A portare la bandiera, invece, ci penseranno Luca Fiorini <\/strong>- che è ancora sopra average dopo essersi trovato in buona posizione per gran parte del torneo - e la coppia formata da Antonio Lacirignola <\/strong>e Francesco Delfoco<\/strong>. Anche se non sono proprio in push-or-fold, una ritoccatina allo stack va data per entrambi, se si vuole puntare al tavolo finale.<\/p>
