\"Questa regola è troppo ingiusta. Fanc..o, ora vado all-in al buio! Dai, forza, alla prossima mano!\". Quelle che vi abbiamo riportato sono le parole di fuoco pronunciate da Daniel Negreanu<\/strong> durante il secondo livello del €10.000 High Roller EPT a Barcellona<\/strong>. Che cosa è riuscito a trasformare l'inossidabile sorriso sul volto di \"Kid Poker\" in uno sguardo furibondo e inviperito? <\/p>

Nell'occhio del ciclone è caduta una direttiva recentemente approvata dalla TDA<\/strong> (Tournament Directors Association) e adottata anche dall'European Poker Tour. L'articolo incriminato è il numero 32<\/strong>, ovvero quello in cui è sancita la controversa regola \"first card off the deck<\/strong>\" secondo cui \"un giocatore deve essere al proprio posto quando la prima carta del mazzo è stata distribuita. In caso contrario, la sua mano non è considerata valida e viene subito muckata\". Più che leciti i dubbi su che cosa si debba intendere per \"al proprio posto<\/strong>\". Secondo quanto specificato nel testo, si fa riferimento a tutte quelle situazioni in cui il player \"può effettivamente raggiungere la sedia\".<\/p>

Fin qui la pura teoria. Vediamo ora la cronaca dell'accaduto e come si è arrivati allo scoppio della bomba-Negreanu. \"Kid Poker<\/strong>\" è di small blind, si alza dalla sedia per stiracchiare un po' le gambe, paga l'ante e il buio. In quel momento, il nostro Phil<\/strong> philgruissem Gruissem <\/strong>lo saluta dal tavolo di fianco e lui, nel ricambiare, si volta verso lo Strategista tedesco e si sposta di circa 30 centimetri a sinistra. \"Ero ben consapevole della regola e ho evitato di allontanarmi troppo<\/strong>\" ha dichiarato Negreanu. Invece, una volta posato lo sguardo sul suo tavolo, Daniel assiste impotente all'annullamento della propria mano<\/strong>, muckata senza esitazione dal dealer. <\/p>

Ecco il finimondo. \"Ero in piedi proprio dietro la mia sedia<\/strong> e stavo parlando con Phil. Ero un passo indietro rispetto al mio posto e avevo già piazzato il mio SB!\". Negreanu chiama immediatamente il floorman e gli spiega i dettagli dell'accaduto, ma il Tournament Director<\/strong> si dimostra inflessibile e dà ragione al dealer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il Pro canadese è furibondo. Prima afferra le carte della discordia e le scaglia sul tavolo, mostrando un KTo. Poi urla di voler andare all-in al buio<\/strong> e, durante la mano successiva, butta tutte le sue chips in mezzo al tavolo, senza vedere le carte. \"Queste fott..e regole sono così stupide! Ho voglia di spararmi in testa!<\/strong>\" sbotta Negreanu, ormai sotto gli occhi di tutti i player in sala. Lo Staff cerca invano di calmarlo: \"Signore, il regolamento dice che...\". \"Ho letto le regole. So esattamente cosa c'è scritto. Comunque, ormai ci siamo. Forza, sono all-in\". Tutti i player foldano, tranne lo SB Timothy Adams<\/strong> che calla con \"\"\"\". Il canadese gira \"\"\"\" e il board non lo aiuta. <\/p>

Il suo sfogo prosegue a briglia sciolta anche su Twitter<\/strong>, ma poi, una volta placati i bollenti spiriti, Negreanu ritrova lucidità <\/strong>e consapevolezza. \"È stata una reazione stupida, me ne rendo conto<\/strong>. Mi sono fatto prendere dalla rabbia e ho finito per commettere una decisione sciocca. Ormai è accaduto, ma non voglio giustificare il mio comportamento: non ho saputo gestire correttamente la situazione<\/strong>. La mano muckata era KTo, del tutto irrilevante per me: quello che conta è il modo con cui è stata annullata\". <\/p>

Secondo Daniel, questa diatriba infernale non aveva ragione di esistere, visto che la situazione era fin troppo chiara<\/strong>. \"Dalla posizione in cui mi trovavo, avevo già lanciato ante e buio sul tavolo e potevo afferrare in qualsiasi momento la sedia<\/strong>. Per il dealer io ero un piede indietro rispetto al punto da me dichiarato. Ammettendo che questo fosse vero, non sarebbe cambiato proprio niente, data la vicinanza alla mia postazione\". <\/p>

Insomma, tanto rumore per soli 30 maledetti centimetri<\/strong>. A chi dare ragione? Appoggiare la versione del dealer o quella del malcapitato player? Su questo Negreanu ha le idee chiare: \"In situazioni del genere, è nell'interesse di tutti dare al giocatore il beneficio del dubbio<\/strong>. È una buona politica per buoni affari. Anche nel baseball, uno sport di centimetri, il pareggio va al corridore!\".<\/p>
