Otto livelli da 75 minuti e il day 1A dell'EPT di Praga<\/strong> è già una storia da raccontare: dei 385 iscritti (ottima affluenza) se ne sono salvati 219, che torneranno più in là per il day 2. A guidarli c'è un giovane rumeno: Tiberu-Florian Georgescu<\/strong>, che ha collezionato quasi 200.000 gettoni.<\/p>

Cominciamo subito col dire che c'è un italiano in top 15: si tratta di Paolo Compagno<\/strong>, che ha trovato un'ottima giornata e ha chiuso al tredicesimo posto provvisorio, anche se - come sappiamo - i primi calcoli sono sempre passibili di revisione. Che sia tredicesimo o quindicesimo, in ogni caso, poco cambia: con 112.000 chips<\/strong> il giocatore residente a Campione potrà affrontare il day 2 con serenità e mettere in mostra tutte le frecce della sua faretra.<\/p>

Italiani che sono andati abbastanza bene in questo primo scaglione di day 1, con Adinolfi<\/strong>, Battisti<\/strong>, Cepparulo<\/strong>, Di Cicco<\/strong>, Miniucchi <\/strong>e Suriano <\/strong>ancora dentro. Buona in particolare la prova di Massimo Di Cicco<\/strong>, che chiude sopra average a 62.000 gettoni. Per lui, ovviamente, la beffa del 2008 (quando, proprio qui a Praga, si arrese in heads-up all'altro italiano Salvatore Bonavena<\/strong>) è ancora una ferita aperta: vorrà a tutti i costi questa Picca.<\/p>

Ancora dentro anche molti big del circuito. Il primo è Anaras Alekberovas<\/strong>, uno che in queste situazioni si piazza spesso molto bene. Per lui 115.600 gettoni e top twenty assicurata. Benissimo anche Jonathan Little<\/strong> e Steve O'Dwyer<\/strong>, con Shannon Shorr<\/strong>, Tobi Lewis<\/strong>, Jonathan Duhamel <\/strong>e Juha Helppi <\/strong>ancora dentro, anche se con stack non troppo solidi.<\/p>

Sono tante, invece, le eliminazioni importanti. Oltre agli Azzurri Erion Islamay <\/strong>e Niccolò Caramatti<\/strong>, sono già fuori il gallese Romanello<\/strong>, l'australiano Jeffrey Rossiter<\/strong>, e poi ancora Jake Cody<\/strong>, Dan Kelly<\/strong>, Johnny Lodden <\/strong>e Vanessa Selbst <\/strong>(fuori \"\"\"\" contro \"\"\"\"), che però si consola vincendo il PLO Championship<\/strong> per €107.000.<\/p>

Una mano piuttosto bizzarra è venuta fuori durante il sesto livello di gioco (200\/400\/50). Azione piuttosto caotica nel preflop, con Mikolaj Zawadzki <\/strong>che apre UTG 800, Darren Elias UTG+1 tribetta 1.800 e riceve ben tre call (fra cui quello di Cengiz Ulusu<\/strong> sul bottone). Il polacco Zawadzki però 4betta a 6.800 e tutti chiamano, con un pot che diventa di 34.000.<\/p>

Al flop (\"\"\"\"\"\") Zawadzki <\/strong>betta 8.200: tutti foldano tranne Ulusu<\/strong>, che va all-in per 14.625. Zawadzki con due assi e il nuts non può che instacallare, ma perderà questa mano<\/strong>. Secondo te cosa ha in mano Ulusu? E come ha giocato preflop? Insomma: come l'avresti giocata?<\/p>
