Ex giocatore di poker, politico incallito e adesso anche marito<\/strong>. Tony G<\/strong> non smette di \"darsi da fare\" e qualche giorno fa ha deciso di celebrare le nozze con la modella lituana AistÄ— ŠlapokaitÄ—<\/strong>.<\/p>

La cerimonia si è svolta nella capitale Vilnius<\/strong>, tra gli invitati non poteva mancare l'amico di sempre: Phill Hellmuth<\/strong>. I due sono legati ormai da tanto tempo, forse uniti da quella parlantina pungente e da quell'ironia a limite del sopportabile che tanto li accomuna.<\/p>

Ad ogni modo Tony, ha mostrato al mondo intero di aver cambiato il suo lato tronfio e borioso<\/strong>, dando sfogo a tutto il suo essere romantico. Queste le parole rilasciate subito dopo le nozze: \"Dopo due anni di convivenza, posso facilmente dire che mia moglie sia una persona meravigliosa<\/strong>. Auguro a tutti voi di non stancarvi di cercare la persona giusta. Perchè è fantastico trovare qualcuno ideale con il quale condividere la propria vita<\/strong><\/em>\".<\/p>

Hellmuth non è da meno e, con il cuore in mano, con queste parole fa gli auguri all'amico: \"Congratulazioni a Tony e Aiste. Il mondo del poker sente la sua mancanza, ma il resto del mondo è un posto migliore grazie al duro lavoro che Tony G sta facendo<\/strong> per migliorarlo<\/em>\". Presenti alle nozze anche altri due inseparabili amici di sempre: Warren Lush<\/strong> e Dave Ulliott<\/strong>. Da parte nostra i migliori auguri e un in bocca al lupo per il lavoro!<\/p>

\"Highstakers\"Pessima giornata per Sanlker<\/strong> qualla di ieri. Il giocatore tedesco perde circa quattrocentomila dollari in colpo solo<\/strong>, quasi interamente finiti nelle tasche del connazionale Sebastian Ruthenberg<\/strong> dopo alcuni HU ai tavoli $1.500\/$3.000 2-7 Triple Draw. Sono bastate solamente 212 mani per mettere ko l'avversario<\/strong> in appena un pomeriggio di gioco.<\/p>

Altro grande vincitore di giornata è Alex \"postflopaction\" Kostritsyn<\/strong>, in grado di portare a casa $190.000 dollari <\/strong>di guadagno. In terza piazza si ferma invece il misterioso Exclusive<\/strong>, che chiude con un profit di oltre settantamila dollari<\/strong>. Perde qualcosa invece Daniel Cates<\/strong> ma, nonostante il passivo di ieri che lo vede chiudere in negativo di $112.737<\/strong>, rimane comunque leader<\/strong> nella classifica dei più vincenti di questo mese.<\/p>

Continua invece la spirale negativa di Viktor \"Isildur1\" Blom<\/strong>, che conclude la giornata aggiudicandosi la medaglia d'argento tra i Top Losers. Questa sua discesa lo porta però a blindare il primo posto nella classifica dei più perdenti di questo mese<\/strong>, superando le perdite di Gus Hansen<\/strong>. Proprio quest'ultimo non sembra aver rialzato la testa, perde qualcosa e rimane sempre su un passivo piuttosto stabile. Nonostante gli alti e bassi il nostro Gus, non riesce a recupare il downswing che lo vede protagonista nel ruolo di giocatore più perdente dell'anno<\/strong>, con un bel - $3.723.364. Daje Gus!<\/p>

Nella giornata di oggi si riprenderà con il Day2<\/strong>, al quale, oltre ai già citati Pro, fanno parte gente del calibro di Dan Shak<\/strong>, Daniel Colman<\/strong>, Vanessa Selbst<\/strong>, Negreanu<\/strong> e tante altre icone del poker mondiale. <\/p>

Tra gli eliminati di questa prima tornata vanno citati sicuramente: Mike \"Timex\" McDonald<\/strong>,<\/em> e Alec Torelli<\/strong>, fuori dai giochi durante il Day1. Anche Kanit era stato eliminato prima di ripredere alla grande la corsa grazie a un re-buy<\/strong>. I giochi sono più che aperti, le registrazioni termineranno non appena verrà dato inizio al Day2.
