Sono 10, e tutti avrebbero il diritto di entrare a far parte della ristretta cerchia delle icone <\/strong>di questo fantastico gioco. La Hall of Fame del poker<\/strong> verrà presto ritoccata, e almeno un giocatore (più probabilmente due<\/strong>) sarà insignito di questo onore. Ma qual è il finalista più meritevole <\/strong>di questo prestigioso riconoscimento?<\/p>

Cominciamo col dare uno sguardo ai fantastici dieci <\/strong>che si sono guadagnati quantomeno il diritto di rappresentare i candidati ideali per l'elezione del 2014<\/strong>, spiegando per ognuno di essi quale sia la motivazione <\/strong>che lo vede inserito fra gli ambasciatori del poker (quelli con l'asterisco <\/strong>sono stati nominati per la prima volta<\/strong>):<\/p>

Nettamente il più forte giocatore costaricano, ha oltre $6 milioni di guadagni in carriera, è secondo solo a Phil Hellmuth come ITM alle World Series ed è uno dei migliori ambasciatori del poker nell'America Latina.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\"\" <\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/span>Bruno Fitoussi*<\/strong><\/td>\n55<\/td>\nConosciuto come \"The King\", Bruno è il padrino del poker francese. Ha praticamente introdotto il poker in Francia nel 1995 e con i suoi $2.7 milioni di profitti è anche nella top ten dei giocatori transalpini.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\"\" <\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/span>Ted Forrest*<\/strong><\/td>\n49<\/td>\nHa sei braccialetti WSOP, $6 milioni di vincite solo nei tornei live e resta tutt'oggi l'unico giocatore al mondo che abbia vinto tre braccialetti WSOP in eventi consecutivi di tre varianti di poker.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\"\" <\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/span>Jen Harman<\/strong><\/td>\n49<\/td>\nLa prima donna ad aver vinto più braccialetti WSOP, Jennifer vanta quasi $3 milioni in carriera e ha preso parte alle più grandi partite cash del globo per oltre un decennio.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\"\" <\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/span>Bob Hooks*<\/strong><\/td>\n85<\/td>\nCard Room Manager della prima edizione delle World Series nel 1970, fu runner-up nel 1975. Bob fu uno dei Texas Rounders assieme a Brunson, Amarillo Slim e Moss. Ha giocato a poker tutti i giorni per oltre 60 anni prima di ritirarsi nel 2013.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\"\" <\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/span>Daniel Negreanu*<\/strong><\/td>\n40<\/td>\nUna leggenda vivente: Kid Poker ha quasi 30 milioni di dollari di guadagni, è uno dei personaggi più amati di ogni tempo e ha conquistato 6 volte il braccialetto. È anche l'unico giocatore al mondo ad aver conquistato il prestigioso premio di \"Player of the Year\" più di una volta.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\"\" <\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/span>Huck Seed<\/strong><\/td>\n45<\/td>\nHuck è l'unico di questa lista che abbia conquistato il Main Event (nel 1996). Ha inoltre altri tre braccialetti e quasi 8 milioni di dollari di guadagno.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>

Per ottenere la nomination alla Hall of Fame<\/strong> del poker, occorre ovviamente possedere dei requisiti<\/strong>. Vediamo quali:<\/p>

  • Aver giocato in competizioni riconosciute e di acclarata importanza<\/em><\/li>\n
  • Avere almeno 40 anni<\/em><\/li>\n
  • Aver giocato negli High Stakes<\/em><\/li>\n
  • Aver giocato sempre nel modo giusto, ottenendo così il rispetto dei colleghi<\/em><\/li>\n
  • Aver superato la prova del tempo<\/em><\/li>\n
  • Oppure, per i non giocatori, aver contribuito alla crescita del gioco del poker con risultati positivi, duraturi e indelebili.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>
