Nel mondo del poker bisogna stare attenti alle nomee <\/strong>che ti circondano. Proprio per questo motivo un uomo pur schivo come Phil Ivey<\/strong> ha deciso di dire tutta la verità sul fattaccio che l'ha coinvolto negli ultimi mesi, ovvero l'ipotesi di truffa ai danni dei casinò Borgata <\/strong>e Crockfords <\/strong>per oltre 20 milioni di dollari, di cui poco meno della metà (quelli del Borgata) già intascati dal campione di Roselle.<\/p>

Ivey apparirà dunque sulla CBS <\/strong>in un'intervista di un'ora realizzata in luglio<\/strong>, ma che verrà trasmessa il 7 ottobre<\/strong>. Alcune indiscrezioni <\/strong>sono già trapelate dalla chiacchierata col giornalista di CBS, durante la quale viene fuori tutto il personaggio rappresentato da questo inimitabile giocatore di poker.<\/p>

Patrick Alvin<\/strong>, produttore della CBS, ha dichiarato che già mentre preparava l'intervista Phil Ivey stava contemporaneamente giocando le World Series<\/strong> e scommettendo sui mondiali di calcio in Brasile<\/strong>, tanto che - proprio di fronte ad Alvin - ha perso mezzo milione di dollari<\/strong> puntando su una partita del Messico.<\/p>

Phil Ivey non ha negato che le cose siano andate come i casinò hanno ricostruito, tuttavia ha sempre definito corretto <\/strong>il proprio comportamento, e tenterà di dimostrarlo all'interno della trasmissione CBS News Tv Show 60 Minutes Sports<\/em> proprio tra quattro giorni, quando spiegherà anche il ruolo dell'oscura Cheng Yin Sun<\/strong>, la donna con la vista bionica in grado di distinguere le carte dal dorso.<\/p>

A questo punto non resta che infilare i popcorn <\/strong>nel microonde...<\/p>

Michael Phelps, uno dei più straordinari nuotatori di tutti i tempi (nonché 8 volte medaglia d'oro alle olimpiadi di Pechino) è stato fermato ieri dalla polizia a bordo della propria auto e arrestato per guida in stado di ebbrezza. Il campione aveva il doppio della quantità legale di alcool nel sangue, dopo aver giocato poco meno di 9 ore a un tavolo da poker di Baltimora, sua città natale. Nel referto della polizia l'identikit di Phelps è quello di un uomo semidistrutto, con gli occhi arrossati e l'aria esausta. Michael, che da quando ha lasciato la vasca frequenta abitualmente i tavoli di poker, s'è scusato tramite Twitter. È dura venire di colpo catapultati nel dimenticatoio, dopo aver assaggiato la popolarità...<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>

La UKGC cambia idea: Auto-Rebuy, si può!<\/h3>\n

Aveva destato preoccupazione nei grinder britannici il nuovo regolamento dell'e-gaming del Regno Unito, che avrebbe vietato le caselle di \"auto-rebuy\", rendendo la vita molto più difficile ai multitabler. Pur definito \"nobile\" dai giocatori, il regolamento aveva così suscitato una petizione che chiedeva una sorta di \"esonero\" solo per l'auto-rebuy. Ebbene, a distanza di poche ore, la UK Gambling Commission torna sui propri passi e chiarisce che l'auto-rebuy sarà consentito, in quanto non fa parte di quegli atteggiamenti (ora vietati) dei gestori che tentano di indurre i propri clienti a spendere altro denaro, avallando la ludopatia, ma è considerabile come una semplice scelta di gioco del player. A qualcuno potrà forse sembrare ridicolo questo dietro-front così repentino, ma in realtà l'istituto britannico ha dimostrato un buonsenso, una risolutezza e una rapidità di esecuzione che vorremmo tanto esistesse anche in Italia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>
