Daniel Cates<\/strong> suona la seconda. Come già accaduto nel 2010, infatti, quando guadagnò oltre 5 milioni e mezzo di dollari, Jungleman<\/a> è il più prolifico giocatore online dell'anno. È la seconda volta di fila che PokerStrategy.com mette lo zampino sulla palma del migliore: l'anno scorso era toccato al tedesco Nicklas<\/strong> ragen<\/em> Heinecker<\/strong>.<\/p>

Per essere precisi, l'americano ha vinto $2.805.751 su Full Tilt <\/strong>e $631.288 su PokerStars<\/strong>, per un profitto totale di $3.437.039<\/strong>. Guadagno con il quale stacca la soglia dei 10 milioni di dollari <\/strong>acchiappati online. <\/p>

Dietro di lui, con $2.572.989<\/strong>, spicca punting-peddler<\/strong> che si dice possa rispondere al nome del pokerista svedese Mikael Thuritz<\/strong>.<\/p>

Immancabile, in questa classifica, il re del poker online di tutti i tempi: Patrik Antonius<\/strong>. The Beauty <\/em>s'è guadagnato la pagnotta anche quest'anno, con un profitto finale di $1.683.538<\/strong>.<\/p>

È giusto dire, in ogni caso, che non tutti i giocatori hanno accettato di far trackare a lungo termine i propri profitti: per esempio nella classifica non figurano teste di serie del calibro di Alex Luneau <\/strong>e Ben Tollerene<\/strong>.<\/p>

Gus sprofonda, ma si vendica<\/h3>

Non c'è pace, invece, per Gus Hansen<\/strong>, che si laurea a pieni voti maggior perdente anche nel 2014. Ben $5.865.263<\/strong> il suo record negativo quest'anno, grazie al quale arriva a $20.737.007 <\/strong>di disfatta, diventando a suo modo una leggenda del poker. <\/p>

Mentre altri perdenti di lusso sono Viktor Blom<\/strong>, Phil Ivey <\/strong>e Phil Galfond<\/strong>, il danese è riuscito in extremis a consumare la propria personale vendetta su Alexonmoon<\/em> Luneau<\/strong>, colpevole di averlo definito il miglior fish possibile sull'ormai celebre documentario<\/strong><\/a> \"Nosebleed<\/em>\".<\/p>

The Great Dane<\/em> ha tirato fuori dal cilindro un colpo della sua vecchia classe, andando prima a umiliare il francese sul suo terreno ($82.000 vinti al 2-7 Triple Draw), poi l'ha letteralmente disintegrato al FLO8, dove gli ha preso altri $440.000, per un totale di oltre mezzo milione di dollari<\/strong> in circa 7 ore.<\/p>

Se pensate, però, che il danese si sia goduto a lungo i propri soldi, vi sbagliate<\/strong>: proprio il giorno successivo, infatti, s'è preso subito la briga di restituire il... bentolto quasi per intero: la sua sessione di fine anno gli è costata oltre $400.000, molti dei quali sono tornati nelle casse di Luneau.<\/p>

Il poker dà<\/strong>, il poker toglie <\/strong>(soprattutto toglie, nel caso di Hansen).<\/p>
