Una kermesse pokeristica di spessore, negli ultimi tempi, non può non avere il proprio Ladies Event<\/strong>. Che può sembrare una excusatio non petita, o un'operazione antisessista<\/strong> che rischia di diventare sessista<\/strong> (un po' come la festa della donna), ma negli anni ha saputo comunque consacrare diverse grandi giocatrici<\/strong>.<\/p>

Anche l'EPT di Deauville<\/strong> presentava il proprio sfolgorante Ladies Event, ma quando i tavoli sono stati fatti e le 86 giocatrici<\/strong> si sono sedute al proprio posto, spettatori e giornalisti hanno potuto accorgersi del fatto che qualcosa<\/strong> non fosse andato per il verso giusto.<\/p>

Ventidue<\/strong> di loro, infatti, erano maschi<\/strong>. La cosa non solo ha stupito i blogger e le stesse partecipanti all'evento, ma è stata accolta con feroce sarcasmo<\/strong> (e in alcuni casi disgusto<\/strong>) dalla maggior parte delle testate pokeristiche mondiali.<\/p>

Tanto più che, a vincere, è stato un uomo: Thierry Derkx<\/strong>, francese che - per punizione<\/strong> - ora su GPI<\/strong> non ha più un'identità sessuale ben definita, risultando attualmente unisex<\/strong> per precisa scelta dei dirigenti del sito. Dietro di lui c'è una coppia di italiani: Sabina Hiatullah<\/strong> e Luca Dal Cerro<\/strong>. Il quale, ovviamente, quantunque il nome termini per \"a\", è un altro imbucato<\/strong>.<\/p>

Ma perché accade tutto questo? L'iscrizione<\/strong>, effettivamente, per un regolamento forse un po' cieco, non può essere vietata a una categoria di persone<\/strong>. Alle WSOP<\/strong> se la cavano con l'inghippo<\/strong>: laddove il buy-in costa $1.000<\/strong> per una signora, finisce per costare $10.000<\/strong> per un signore. Un po' come in discoteca.<\/p>

All'EPT<\/strong>, per eccesso di zelo, si è ritenuto che anche questo espediente<\/strong> ricada nella definizione di \"discriminazione sessuale\". Ci si è quindi affidati al buon gusto<\/strong> e al buon senso<\/strong> dei giocatori, sperando che nessuno s'imbucasse.
