L'era delle pin-up<\/strong> belle e inconsistenti è decisamente terminata<\/strong>: le nuove muse<\/strong> del poker, al tavolo, ci sanno fare eccome. E ben venga se all'abilità pokeristica abbinano anche un fisico mozzafiato<\/strong>.<\/p>

Come nel caso della nuova meraviglia del poker: Samantha Abernathy<\/strong>. Sam aveva già attirato l'attenzione dei cronisti sportivi lo scorso anno, quando aveva collezionato oltre 30 ITM<\/strong>, anche se in tornei dal buy-in molto basso e per un profitto totale che non superava i $20.000.<\/p>

La consacrazione è avvenuta proprio ieri al Venetian Resort<\/strong>, dove si stava giocando un torneo Deep Stack da $150.000<\/strong> con $250 di buy-in. Oltre mille gli iscritti, ma Sam non s'è fatta intimidire e l'ha chiuso al secondo posto<\/strong>, guadagnando in un sol colpo più di quanto avesse acchiappato in tutto l'anno passato.<\/p>

Con questi $25.000 la Abernathy vede il proprio bankroll<\/strong> prendere forma, e speriamo vivamente di vederla anche nei palcoscenici più importanti. A un'occhiata sommaria lo meriterebbe<\/strong>, eccome<\/strong>!<\/p>

A mezzanotte, in un clima surreale, ha chiuso i battenti una delle room più amate dai giovani, perché teatro del celeberrimo film Rounders. Il Taj Mahal di Atlantic City ha ospitato la crème del poker mondiale, ma ha dovuto soccombere alla crisi che sta investendo in questi mesi il New Jersey.
