\"SergioQuando sfiori l'apoteosi in un Main Event WSOP<\/strong>, nel torneo più prestigioso del mondo del poker, arrivando 14esimo su quasi 7.000 giocatori, un concetto ti è chiaro in tutta la sua crudeltà: quel treno è passato e probabilmente non tornerà mai più. Eppure, se ti chiami Sergio Castelluccio<\/strong>, se la tua abilità pokeristica è tale da permetterti di vincere praticamente tutto nel poker, tanto da infrangere diversi record, non è mai il caso di dire la parola \"mai\"!<\/p>

Ebbene sì: dopo l'incredibile volata del 2013, quando il Genio ci fece sognare fino agli ultimi istanti che precedettero l'assegnazione dei cartellini nel November Nine, dopo quella doccia gelata del maledetto river entrato al canadese<\/a> McLaughlin<\/strong> e in grado di strapazzare i due fortissimi K in mano al nostro... dopo tutto questo, ecco che il geniodelletartarughe<\/a> è ancora lì, nei primissimi posti del chipcount del Day 2, pronto a rimettere nel mirino il sogno più grande per ogni pokerista che si rispetti: vincere le World Series.<\/p>

Il Main Event è attualmente in corso, ma le notizie che arrivano da Las Vegas sono altamente incoraggianti per i colori azzurri, che quest'anno hanno avuto ben poco da festeggiare nel poker che conta, vista la scarsissima fortuna che la spedizione italiana ha avuto in terra d'America durante queste WSOP. Alla chiusura del Day 2AB, il primo dei due giorni che porteranno al Day 3 unico, Sergio Castelluccio è addirittura terzo<\/strong> nel chipcount<\/strong>, su circa 1,100 giocatori rimasti.<\/p>

548,500 i suoi gettoni, nettamente sopra average per una deep run che ricorda molto da vicino quella di 4 anni fa e che ci autorizza a sognare, anche perché conosciamo bene il Genio e sappiamo che le sue forze si moltiplicano quando può guardare gli stack avversari dall'alto verso il basso.<\/p>

L'Italia c'è<\/h3>

Per quanto riguarda, invece, gli altri italiani in gara, bisogna dire che il tricolore sembra aver avuto uno scatto d'orgoglio, visto che sono dieci i giocatori azzurri che approdano al day 3, nell'attesa degli altri che oggi si disputeranno il Day 2C. Fra i notabili, impossibile non citare il sempreverde Max Pescatori<\/strong> (207k il suo stack) e il mitico Alessandro Borsa<\/strong>, ex coach della community italiana di PokerStrategy.com (240k).<\/p>

E ora siamo autorizzati tutti a sognare il tavolo finale (che quest'anno non sarà a novembre)...<\/p>
