La competizione &egrave; stata tenuta presso la conferenza dell&acute;Associazione per il progresso delle intelligenze articificlai (AAAI) a Vancouver.<\/p><p>La macchina, denominata \"Geekaphile\", ha giocato contemporaneamente contro i due professionisti in due stanze separate a Fixed Limit. Le carte distribuite a Geekaphile nel primo incontro erano le stesse rispetto al secondo e le carte dei professionisti non si differenziavano tra di loro. In questo modo &egrave; stato quasi interamente eliminato il fattore della fortuna.<\/p><p>Phil Laak disse durante le 500 sessioni giocate contro la macchina: \"Questo bot &egrave; talmente forte che se giocasse contro chiunque al mondo io punterei su di esso.\"<\/p><p>Tuttavia, lui e Eslami sono riusciti a battere la macchina. Eslami &egrave; un giocatore molto aggressivo, mentre Laak ha usato una tecnica pi&ugrave; difensiva.
