\n\"WSOPÈ stata un'altra giornata avvincente ai tavoli per i 91 giocatori che sono sopravvissuti al day 1 dell'evento $50.000 H.O.R.S.E. Alla fine del secondo giorno di azione, 53 giocatori riescono a passare al giorno successivo. Nel day 2 molti grandi nomi sono stati mandati a casa, tra questi Daniel Negreanu, Johnny Chan, Jennifer
\nHarman e Howard Lederer sono stati tutti messi al tappeto.\n

Gus Hansen ha fatto grandi passi avanti verso la leaderboard oggi. Il Great Dane<\/i> ha concluso la giornata in testa dopo aver iniziato il day 2 con sole 164.600 chip. Con questa tenace dimostrazione oggi, sarà un forte pretendente al titolo di questo evento così illustre.\n<\/p><\/div>

\nHansen (foto a sinistra) ha iniziato la giornata seduto accanto a Howard
\nLederer, Gabe Kaplan e Jerry Buss, il proprietario degli ultimi osannati vincitori dell'NBA, i L.A. Lakers. Tra gli altri partecipanti abbiano ritrovato John Juanda,
\nJohnny Chan, Mike Matusow e Scotty Nguyen, tutti seduti a uno stesso tavolo. Dall'altro lato, anche Erik
\nSiedel, Daniel Negreanu, Andy Black e Chau Giang erano seduti insieme a quello che è stato definito come il tavolo della morte.\n

In una delle grandi mani della giornata giocate da Hansens (Stud Eight<\/b>), 4 giocatori sono giunti al river, 2 dei quali si sono divisi la parte Hi e Lo del piatto. L'azione si è sviluppata tra Jerry Buss (X)(X)\"Kc\"\"7s\"\"4c\"\"3c\"(X), Pat Bueno (X)(X)\"Js\"\"5h\"\"2d\"\"2d\"(X), Gus Hansen (X)(X)\"7d\"\"8h\"\"9d\"\"Jd\"(X) e Jim Bechtel (X)(X)\"8c\"\"8d\"\"3s\"\"Ks\"(X).
\nPrima che l'atmosfera si riscaldasse al river, Pat Bueno si trova in testa sulla quarta street, Jerry Buss fa la stessa cosa sulla quinta, sulla sesta i giocatori si scrutano.<\/p>\n

Hansen punta per primo al river e viene rilanciato da Bechtel. Quando Hansen  scaglia un altro rilancio, sia Bueno che Buss fanno fold. Hansen a quel punto effettua un flat call non appena Bechtel rilancia nuovamente. Hansen forma un low con \"2h\"\"Ad\"\"3d\" ma il suo nut flush non riesce a battere il full house di Bechtel che invece mostra \"2s\"\"2c\"\"8s\". La parte low del piatto fa rimbalzare Hansen a 215.000 chip.<\/p>\n

\nNguyen (foto a destra), il campione in carica di questo evento ostenta di tanto in tanto le sue mosse al tavolo. In una mano (Hold'Em<\/b>) con Mike Matusow, si è sentito il Prince of Poker <\/i>dire \"Arrenditi baby<\/i>\" dato che sul board c'erano \"7d\"\"Ks\"\"Jc\"\"4d\". Matusow chiede se si tratta di \"Re-Donna\" ma ci rinuncia appena Scotty
\nNguyen esplode in una delle sue risate distintive. Nguyen mostra KJ <\/b>con cui forma una top two pair e si porta a 195.000 chip.\n<\/div>\n

Più tardi nella serata quando la partita rallenta e l'alcool inizia a scorrere a fiumi, si è visto Scotty effettuare bet da $1 con odds di 100:1 e buttare un fazzoletto bagnato nel cestino. Dopo aver vinto alcune bet, firma le banconote da
\n$1 e le distribuisce ai fan accanto a lui.<\/p>\n

\nBrunson, Barry Greenstein (foto a sinistra) e Huck Seed si sono classificati nella prima metà dei 53 giocatori rimasti in gara. Anche altri nomi come Doyle Brunson, Erik
\nSiedel, Chris Ferguson, Patrik Antonius e Phil Ivey sono riusciti a rimanere in gara. <\/p>\n

I primi 3 chip stack, Gus Hansen, Ray Dehkharghani e Erik Sagstrom,
\navranno un vantaggio significativo nel day 3. Ciò nonostante, è troppo presto per escludere qualcuno dalla vittoria in questa fase. Scotty Nguyen si trovava shortstack alla fine dal day 2 dell'altro scorso, ma era poi riuscito a risalire la piena e vincere il braccialetto e il tanto agognato trofeo Chip Reese Memorial.<\/p>\n
