\nLa scarsa partecipazione a questo campionato è stato più volte reso noto. Ciò nonostante, il tavolo finale è ben fornito: con i
\ndanesi Martin Wendt e Dan Bisch Pedersen due grandi giocatori presenziano il tavolo finale. Nonostante la scarsa partecipazione, alcuni PokerStrateghi hanno partecipato al'evento WPT. Tra gli altri, ai tavoli di Barcellona ritroviamo peter87, mrevans e
\naceontheriver.\n<\/p>

\nJosef Samanek inizia come chip leader nel suo ultimo giorno, ma non riesce a mantenere la lead e lascia il tavolo in quinta posizione con
\n€50.400. Martin Wendt se ne è dovuto andare un pochino prima e si è classificato sesto. Chiaramente i €42,000 hanno di gran lunga facilitato la sua uscita.\n<\/p>

\nDan Bitsch Pedersen non riesce per un pelo ad arrivare all'heads-up e perde quindi la possibilità di vincere il suo primo titolo WPT classificandosi terzo. Mark Randal Flowers e Pier Sjoegren sono i due giocatori che si sono disputati il titolo, alla fine però hanno deciso di dividersi il montepremi dopo aver contato le chip.\n<\/p>

\nL'heads-up serviva quindi \"solo\" per vincere il braccialetto WPT e assicurarsi la partecipazione al
\nWPT World Championship al Bellagio, previsto per aprile 2010. Il biglietto per la finale WPT annuale vale $25.000, che è un incentivo tale da stimolare i partecipanti a giocare il meglio possibile.\n<\/p>

\nAlla fine, è Mark Randal Flowers (foto a sinistra) a vincere e a portarsi a casa il suo primo titolo WPT in assoluto.\n<\/p>

\nWPT si trasferisca ora negli USA. Dal 13 al 19 luglio, si terrà la Bellagio Cup a Las Vegas. I primi eventi collaterali sono già in corso di svolgimento, per cui si presume ci saranno più giocatori ora alla Mecca del Poker che a Barcellona in questi giorni.\n<\/p>

\nIn ogni caso, il vincitore in carica dell'evento è Michael Watson, che è riuscito a vincere contro David Benyamine e portarsi a casa

\nSarà interessante vedere quanti giocatori potranno permettersi il buy-in di $15.000 per l'evento al Bellagio.\n<\/p>

\nÈ ancora incerto se la partecipazione al prossimo WPT Championship d'Europa sarà migliore di quella a Barcellona. Dal 31 agosto al 4 settembre, il WPT farà tappa a Bratislava. In quell'occasione il buy-in sarà €4.400.\n<\/p>
