Do you embrace playing against hyper aggressive opponents, or does the same rival 3-betting every time you raise have you hitting the self destruct button?

Want to know what the best in the world are thinking when they're forced into a corner and how to incorporate that thought process into your own game?

In his first video for PokerStrategy.com, Hunter AdminHWilly1 Cichy looks at some of the finer points of how the concept of levelling applies in No Limit Hold'em. Check out his take on some hands from one of the game's most famous duals - durrrr vs Isildur1.

How do you respond to hyper aggressive opponents?

AdminHWilly1: What's up guys? I'm Hunter Cichy AKA @HWilly1 on Twitter. I'm a professional live poker player based out of the Miami area. I've been playing professionally since I turned 18. I love the game and I'm interested in helping other get better.

PokerStrategy.com: How long have you been playing poker?

AdminHWilly1: I started playing live poker in Minnesota the weekend after my 18th birthday. I took $500 worth of Christmas money and sat down in a $1/$2 NL game. It didn't take long for me to realise that I was a winning player.

During the summer after high school I continued to play poker at night while umpiring baseball games all day to save up for college. Now I have an associate's degree and a two-year degree in paramedic sciences; however, I've elected to pursue my love of poker because it's much more fun and lucrative.

PokerStrategy.com: How do you find live games compared to online?

AdminHWilly1: Each type of poker has its pros and cons. Online is obviously much faster; however, your WR/100 hands will be much less. Online poker pushes quantity over quality, which is fine since you have access to the quantity aspect.

Live poker is much slower. Consequently, the key to live poker is either finding a great game or making your game great via social engineering. Watch my videos and I will show you how to induce others to make the game bigger and wilder.

PokerStrategy.com: What will you bring to PokerStrategy.com?

AdminHWilly1: I think I can bring a fresh perspective to the website since I play live poker for a living in a region where very aggressive game dynamics are the norm.
I can help others to navigate situations where opponents are pushing the flow of the game way beyond normal ranges. Moreover, I can help others to understand the social nuances of live poker that will allow them to make bigger and better games.

PokerStrategy.com: Thanks Hunter, we can't wait for your next video.
