$15,000 each week in GGPoker's Battle Royale

The seething hot new Battle Royale games at GGPoker are accompanied by weekly leaderboards giving away a total of $15,000 each week in June.

Last week GGPoker rolled out a new format that looks like it has the potential to be the next big hit at the online poker tables.

Dan Bilzerian's Battle Royale is a PKO SNG for 100 players that's divided into three unique phases, each requiring a different approach and set of skills.

Each Battle Royale starts with a 6-max fast fold format, continues with a 5-max Shootout and ends with a 10-handed Final Table and the one player being crowned as winner that was able to outlast 99 other players.

As name and structure suggest, GGPoker is following the popular Battle Royale format known from video game hits like Fortnite that are seeing millions of players battling it out every day.

$15,000 in Weekly Leaderboards in June

To celebrate the new format, GGPoker has launched weekly leaderboards right away, starting each Thursday, where Battle Royale players stand the chance to battle for an additional prize pool of $15,000 per week.

Players get 1 leaderboard point with each Battle Royale played and there are four separate leaderboards for each of the available buy-in levels. Additionally, a Happy Hour with 1.5x points is slated every day from 6:00 to 8:00 CET.
