Aussie Millions - Jeff Garza is the new Heads-Up champion
Jeff Garza won the Heads-Up championship of the Aussie Millions. He was able to beat Masaaki Kagawa in the final and took home AUD $100,000. Roy Winston finished in third place.
64 participants took part in the australian Heads-Up championshop which is part of the Aussie Millions. The buy-in was AUD $5,000.

also took part in the tournament. After he was eliminated quite early from the main event he was able play the HU championship, which is carried out on the same days as the main event. The tournament was, even though the main event ran parallel to this tournament, very well attended. This happened because many stars were eliminated very early in the tournament. Roland de Wolfe, Mike Matusow and Phil Laak were just a few of them. Along side Florian, there were other players in the tournament who gained their first experiences through online poker. Sorel Mizzi, Josh Field and Annette Obrestad were the most famous.
The tournament was over for all of them before the quarterfinals. The last 8 were Alexey Popov, David Sonelin, Mike McDonald, Lee Nelson, Xuan Nguyen, Roy Winston, Masaaki Kagawa and Jeff Garza where they all reached the paid ranks of the tournament.

After only 15 minutes, Jeff Garza could celebrate his first victory at the Millions. It's the third time that the Japanese Kagawa reached the paid ranks at this years Millions. You can probably expect him in the ranks more often in Australia because of his two paid ranks in the Aussie Millions 2007.
