Six million ways to fly

The Sunday Million is undoubtedly the richest online poker tournament in the history of the game.

The weekly $215 buy-in tournament has grown exponentially since its inception six years ago, and to celebrate its sixth birthday, PokerStars are laying on a massive $6 million guarantee on the 11th March.

You can win your seat from as little as $1, and satellites are running in the lobby now. Alongside the $6 million guarantee, the lucky winner will walk away with at least $1 million.

Negreanu blogs again

Daniel "KidPoker" Negreanu hasn't been a man to mince his words lately, and this week the Canadian pro has released his latest instalment.

Negreanu was quick to judge Doyle Brunson's support of Howard Lederer and calls out his opinion in no uncertain terms.

It seems he's been having fun with his camera in Brazil too...

MGM expects US legalisation this year

MGM Resorts International Chief Executive Officer Jim Murren expects "legalization of online poker at a federal level sometime this year", according to Reuters.

Murren explained that the complication of the issue is not what's hindering possible regulation, instead arguing that "Washington is becoming more complicated."

He confidently announced that MGM would "be one of the first horses out of the gate when it's approved."

High stakes corner

It's been a remarkable 24 hours for PokerStrategy.com coach and PLO monster jenskyllonen over at PokerStars.

The plucky Fin has long been one of the most consistent winners at PLO anywhere and currently sits well over $1 million in profit for the year on PokerStars alone.

He's managed to add another hefty chunk to those winnings today, as he sits on top of the HighStakesDB leaderboard having won over $350,000 over the past day.

It's been a horror day for Team PokerStars Pro "V.Wahlbeck" whose losses have spiralled to just shy of $400,000.
