Dwan and Esfandiari play $700k pot

Poker After Dark came back with a bang last night as the illusive Tom Dwan marked his return to the spotlight in a big way.

Tom Dwan returning to televised poker was a big enough story for us to write about it yesterday and he immediately rewarded poker fans with one of the biggest pots seen on screen.

Poker After Dark has relaunched on PokerGO and for the first time is streaming live. This week poker fans can watch a $100,000 buy-in $200/$400 game with the likes of Doyle Brunson, Antonio Esfandiari, Daniel Negreanu and the aforementioned Dwan.

And last night the ultimate set-up hand took place with Dwan, Esfandiari and Negreanu, with Aces, Kings, Queens and almost $700,000 in the middle of the table.

Poker After Dark is streaming for two more nights on PokerGO.

Was this just a standard cooler or could Antonio have played it differently? Let us know in the comments:

Unbelievable hand! I don't think anybody is getting paid off more than Dwan in that spot. My favourite player behind Ivey and glad to see him back in action!

It's a $700,000 pot, not $800,000 one. Why exaggerate the amount?
