Three days at the EPT Barcelona are in the books, and the 1,082-player field is now just 61 players strong. Those 61 players are already in the money and will go home with at least €14,150, but none of them will be completely satisfied without grabbing the €1,007,550 first-place prize.

What happened on Day 3?

The top stacks - The overall chip leader heading into Day 4 is Czech Antonin Duda with 1,470,000 chips, but far greater attention is being paid to the well-known players in 3rd through 6th place.

Ilari 'Ziigmund' Sahamies is in 3rd (1,269,000), John Juanda is in 4th (968,000), Fatima Moreira de Melo is in 5th (955,000), and Zimnan Ziyard is in 6th (940,000). Lucille Cailly, the 2nd-place finisher from the Season 8 EPT Grand Final, is in 8th place (902,000).

Possible double EPT winners - The EPT is in its 9th season, and several dozen Main Events have taken place over the previous 8 seasons. However, to date no player has won more than 1 EPT title. Two former champions remain in this event and hope to change that - Zimnan Ziyard in 6th and Roberto Romanello in 19th.

Out in the money
- Several of the best-known players who reached the money but won't be back for Day 4 include PokerStrategist Marko 'infinity1000' Neumann, Daniel Negreanu, Ana Marquez, Jake Cody, Juan Manuel Pastor, and Xuan Liu.

Day 4 will begin today at 12:00 CET.
