Events 9 & 10 decided

Rep Porter earned $372,929 for his win in the short-handed event (Event 9). Event 10, and thus $232,911, went to Farzad Rouhani. For both players it was the first bracelet respectively.

1,236 players entered the first short-handed event of the Series, with a buy-in of $1,500.

For the 24-year old Rep Porter it was the second final table at the WSOP. Starting as third in chips into the finale, he could quickly take over the lead. In the heads-up he defeated Nathan
Templeton. In the decisive hand, Porter prevailed with against Templeton's .

Event 10 - Omaha/Seven Card Stud Hi-Low-8 or Better

Farzad Rouhani won the American-only final table of the $2,500
Omaha/Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Event. Over the course of three days, he left behind 387 further participants.

Rouhani already joined the final table as chip leader and was able to constantly extend his lead, dominating the tournament almost at will.

In the heads-up he defeated Tom Chambers, who managed to close the gap somewhat after beating Rouhani's flopped set of fours with his own flopped set of fives. Nonetheless, Chambers was not able to jeopardise Rouhani's win.
