According to various reports the aging celebrity collapsed and began pointing to his chest during a busy session the Rio.
Medical staff were soon on hand and after being given some oxygen he was taken to the Emergency Room off the Vegas strip.
Fortunately, the incident seems to have been a minor scare as Woods was soon able to tweet that he was ok "thanks to the great Rio Hotel staff" and paramedics.
Despite initial fears the health scare was heart related, Woods wrote that doctors think the chest pains could have been a bout of sudden food poisoning and the "onset of virulent symptoms".
Riess or Reiss?
When you're a World Champion people usually remember your name, but when they're forced to spell it things can become a little trickier.
Ryan Riess took the Main Event by storm last year, but despite his name being written countless times across numerous media outlets it seems as though someone in the WSOP's banner making department didn't get the message.
Looming large in the Rio this weekend was an image with the tagline: "2013 WSOP Champion Ryan Reiss".
After spotting the mistake a number of players tweeted a picture of the banner and while the man himself was left smiling at the typo.

George 'georgedanzer' Danzer's 2014 WSOP got off to a fantastic start two weeks ago after he narrowly missed out on a title in Event #5 and things got even better recently after he claimed his first bracelet.
The German PokerStrategist managed to better the fifth place finish he achieved in the $10,000 2-7 Triple Draw event by claiming top spot in the latest non-Hold'em Championship tournament.
After lining up alongside 112 entrants in the $10,000 Seven Card Razz late last week, Danzer finally came through a tough final table - which featured the likes of Brian Hastings and Yuval Bronshtein - to bank the $294,792 top prize.
The final hand saw Danzer's /
best recent bracelet winner Brandon Shack-Harris'
/
to bring the tournament to a close.
Question of the Day

Aside from one of our own community members taking WSOP gold this weekend, the latest round of winners saw Davidi Kitai thwart Phil Hellmuth's latest bracelet aspirations. Despite Mr. Hellmuth announcing his arrival at the final table of Event #15 as though he'd already made history, Kitai had other plans.
Indeed, while Hellmuth ranted about the crazy "Frenchman" (Kitai is actually from Belgium), Kitai was able to watch as his main rival hit the rail in eighth place before going on to take the title. A tough heads-up match was finally brought to a close after Kitai's held on against Gordon Vayo's
. With his last opponent out, Kitai was able to celebrate his third WSOP bracelet and a $508,640 payday.

To mark Davidi Kitai's latest win we finish today with his hero call against Andrew Chen in the EPT Berlin finale.
