Michael Mizrachi wins 9th bracelet in the PLO Championship

The most impressive bracelet cabinet in history has just added another prestigious gold strap as the Grinder does it again.

Michael Mizrachi has just completed arguably the best ever 12-month bracelet heater the poker world will ever see. 

Last year, he famously won the Poker Players Championship and the World Series of Poker Main Event in the same year. He has now followed that up, less than 12 months later, by winning the $10,000 PLO Championship bracelet. 

He defeated Zarvan Tumboli heads up for the bracelet and $1,350,203. It looked like it was going to be easy for him as he came back to the final table, three-handed with 80% of the chips in play. However, the final table actually took the better part of six hours to close out.

The next player to 10 bracelets?

Mizrachi has now made himself the frontrunner to be the next player to win 10 bracelets, as this one was his ninth. Benny Glaser also won his ninth bracelet this year, and Shaun Deeb and Nick Schulman both boast eight. 

However, Mizrachi must have the most impressive bracelet cabinet in poker, having won the Poker Player's Championship four times and the Main Event once. The $10,000 PLO Championship bracelet is also one of the most coveted bracelets in the game. Indeed, Mizrachi must be the only player in the world to have six bracelets that came with a seven-figure or better score.
