Partouche Poker Tour Main Event - Oleksii Kovalchuk Crushing
The second day of the Partouche Poker Tour Main Event is in the books. Oleksii Kovalchuk is crushing the tournament, and PokerStrategist Giuseppe 'LeChiffre19' Pantaleo sits in 3rd place.

322 players took seats for Day 2 of the Partouche Poker Tour Main Event, and by the end of the day just 101 remained.
The chip leader heading into Day 3 is Oleksii Kovalchuk, a Ukrainian player who won a $2,500 6-max event at the WSOP this year. He has an almost unbelievable 892,500 chips. That is enough that if he allowed the 2nd place player overall to double through him, he would only drop to 3rd place.
The 2nd and 3rd place players each finished the day very similarly to how they started it. Team PokerStars member Juan Maceiras began the day in 3rd overall and finished in 2nd, with 452,000 chips.
German PokerStrategist Giuseppe lechiffre19 Pantaleo began the day in 1st place, and now sits in 3rd with 438,600 chips.
Unfortunately, two PokerStrategy.com coaches busted over the course of the day. miikkaanttonen and Tobias pokernoob Reinkemeier each began with a decent stack but ultimately hit the rail.
Some other noteworthy Day 2 bustouts include Jason Mercier, Vanessa Selbst, Antonio Esfandiari, and Daniel 'Jungleman12' Cates.
Day 3 will begin today with the 101 players, and 63 will make the money.
