Yesterday we brought you the news that Kristen Bicknell won the APPT High Roller event for $279,549. Now her boyfriend Alex Foxen has taken down the Super High Roller event at the same festival for the equivalent of almost $1 million.

He just took down the HK $400,000 event for HK $7,560,000 (roughly $963,766) at a tough final table that included Isaac Haxton, Brian Rast, Patrick Antonious, Sam Greenwood and Rainer Kempe.

Not only is this a remarkable back-to-back result for a couple in poker, both players won their High Roller event heads-up with Ace Six.

In fact speaking of 'back-to-back', these are two back-to-back tweets from Bicknell this week:

Where does this stand in the pantheon of poker Power Couple stories? Well, there is quite a lot of competition. Who could forget Liv Boeree and Igor Kurganov winning the Tag Team Bracelets last year? However, probably the sickest story (in a good way) of a poker Power Couple is still perhaps Ivan Luca and Maria Lampropulos getting heads-up in a tournament.

Who is the toughest couple in poker? Let us know in the comments:
