TCOOP being replaced with 'Turbo Series'

The rebranded festival starts next month, features $15 million in guarantees, and yes, they will be awarding Platinum Passes.

Turbo Series PokerStars

There is one less 'COOP' in the poker calendar this year, as the Turbo Championship of Online Poker (TCOOP) is being replaced with the 'Turbo Series'.

Taking place between February 18 to March 4, it will be a MTT festival for Turbo and Hyper Turbo structures, meaning it is perfect for players who don't want to play poker till the early morning when they have work the next day.

There will be 74 events with buy-ins between $11 and $5,200 and $15 million in guarantees. On March 4 there will be a low Main Event for $55 with a $1 million guarantee and a high Main Event for $1,050 with a $2.5 million guarantee.

The winner of each Main Event will also bag a PokerStars Platinum Pass and anyone who plays in a Turbo Series event will be entered into an all-in shootout for a third pass.

Tournaments will kick off daily at 16:00, 18:00, 20:00, 22:00, and 00:00 CET, with the exception of the first day when everything starts at 20:00 CET.

No word on the full schedule yet but look out for daily qualifiers and Spin & Go satellites in the PokerStars lobby.
