EPT Prague - PokerStrategists on top

Today saw 135 players return to the Prague Hilton hotel for Day 3 of the PokerStars EPT Prague. While Russian player Garri Tevosov led the way into Day 3 with a stack of 764,000, we're watching Martin '0piggybank' Finger, Guillem 'gabrielmoya' Cavaller, Andre 'ganstarapper' Klebanov and Vojtech 'vojtar' Ruzicka, who began the day 2nd, 4th, 6th and 18th in the chip counts respectively.

A total of 104 players have made the money and at least €7,500 while those at the final table will be guaranteed €66,700 and have their eyes on the €775,000 first prize.

GSOP Live Prague - record field

Prague has become the Vegas of the Czech Republic as the third major event of the Prague Poker Festival began today. The WPT Prague was the biggest European WPT ever; the EPT Prague was the largest tournament held in the Czech Republic and now GSOP Live has broken its own record.

Not only is it the biggest GSOP event ever but it also broke the record for the largest single-day entry to a poker tournament in Prague. You can follow the GSOP here.

Coach Scott Clements chips up at WPT Five Diamond

On the other side of the world, PokerStrategy.com was still well-represented thanks to our newest coach, ScottClements. He finished Day 2 with the third biggest stack of the 149 survivors at the WPT Five Diamond $10,000 Main Event.

Clements was involved in a sick hand that boosted his stack - in trouble with T-9 against 8-8 on a 9-9-8 flop, the fourth 8 on the turn seemed to spell the end for him. However, the case nine hit the river to give Scott the right end of a quads over quads cooler.

Up against quads? No problem.

Grant Lang leads the field with 382,000 while Scott has 330,100 to brag about. Also alive in the tournament is JonathanLittle, who will be looking to make this Five Diamond event his third WPT title.

Jean-Robert Bellande launches JRBPoker.com

Jean-Robert Bellande has long been a contentious figure in the poker world with people either loving or hating his "broke but living like a millionaire" lifestyle and the huge fluctuations in his bankroll (that is usually all on the table at once). This is documented via his popular Twitter account.

Bellande has now expanded beyond Twitter to launch his own website. JRBPoker.com features information about the man himself, poker tips, videos and a blog. That's JRBio, JRBasics and JRBlog, of course.

In the blue corner, David "Chino" Rheem...

Though we don't know him personally and reserve judgement on his character, the rumours about former November Niner Chino Rheem's financial responsibility (or lack thereof) means that there are probably quite a few people in the poker world that wouldn't say no to punching him in the face.

Well, Tom Hall, who most of us know as AsianLogic Ltd founder and "the guy who tells us who is playing in the Macau big game", was the man who had and took this opportunity.

In Rheem's defence, we would hazard a guess that he is a weight class or two below Hall. Fair fight? Judge for yourself:
